Super Bowl Sunday!!.

Can you believe we're only 2 days away from the best sporting event of the entire season?; the Super Bowl!!. Wondering what everyone's plans on for this joyous occasion as well as who your rooting for?. I personally will be watching the game at home with my brother, probably getting the traditional bag of chips and bottle of Mug Root Beer (greatness!), and I will be rooting for the Indianapolis Colts. Very excited for this game, because it has all the makings of a great game. Two exceptional QB's, two completely different approaches, and storylines that run deep.....Will Peyton Manning win his 2nd Super Bowl and effectively be in the pantheon of greatness?. Will the Saints win and rejuvenate the city of New Orleans in a way that hasn't been done since before Katrina?...Will Dwight Freeney be ready to go by Sunday to bring the pressure needed to Drew Brees?. All of it is pure football magic, and I hope everyone has an enjoyable day...My prediction for the final score; Colts 31 - Saints 23 :)!...Good luck guys!.

I don't think I'll be doing anything special really. Don't really care who wins either but I'm going for Colts.

GO COLTS!!!! I took Monday off so I can watch the whole game, since I normally get up at 5am for work.

:flames:Saints

Our plans, SUPER BOWL PARTY !!!
The combination of Friends, Food, Ice cold Beer and watching the BEST game of the year,.......it doesn't get any better than that.

Seeing that New Orleans is our home town, it's pretty obvious who we will be pulling for.......

GO SAINTS !!! :dancer:

Walter,
:crazy02:BOUT' CORNS !!

I heard the Colts are not from Baltimore any more. When did that happen?

You'll have to ask Lauren. I think she mourns the day. :(

I'm going to a reptile show in the morning, and then watching the game with my tots who are oh so excited. I haven't decided if I'll let them stay up til the end, but I tivo it, because really, aren't the commercials the best part of the SB?

I feel so bad for my friends, tho. They have tix to the game and are flying (supposedly) to Miami in the morning. Unfortunately, the airport has been shut down since early this morning due to the weather. There are going to be a lot of mighty angry peeps if those flights don't get out tomorrow!

Then your blood pressure should stay at a normal level then...Me, I'm going for the Colts entirely..I just want to see Peyton Manning surpass the local hero Tom Brady as the greatest of our time..

Sounds like a lot of fun!..I'm sure the cities in New Orleans will be crazed if they win. Best of luck, and I'm sure it will be a great game!.

I will be going to church in the morning, then I will be watching whatever I feel like. Then on Monday I will read the scores and see a whole lot of people being internet angry on the forums because the Saints are going to win! LOL

I am getting together with my sister and sister in law and we are going to the Boston Museum of Science to see the Harry Potter exhibit. My husband and sister like Harry Potter, but my sis in law and I LOVE it!! Then we will do something about dinner.....

If I am lucky I won't see any of the game :)

Hahahaha!!!!!..Your Brees is no match for my Manning!..Sure Reggie Bush had an adorable game versus the Cards, but that will change on Sunday :). Hope you have a great time with your friends and family and remember; there's always next year ;) (jk)...

Agreed!...I do love the casting though, and it added a much needed visual aide for the books even though I had read the first 4 before I saw the movies..Books are so much more substantial though, and much of the spirit is lost in the films. Especially of some of the less important characters...By the way, I miss Richard Harris :(..He was Dumbledore...

Richard Harris was THE Dumbledore.
He was a MUCH better fit than his replacement.
That has always been my biggest complaint with the movies....the first Dumbledore was wise, thoughtful, compassionate and all-knowing...I saw the replacement as brash, loud, and careless....not at all dignified.

That is exactly how I see it...Like in the 4th one right after they find out who the Tri-Wizard champions are and the new Dumbledore (Michael Gambon) walks up to Harry gruffly and is like "Are you absolutely sure you did not put your name in the cup?.". Definitely not how Dumbledore would say it. Dumbledore would suspect the real truth and would trust Harry, not interrogate him for answers. That's more of a Remus Lupin thing lol..(I know, lame :D ). Richard Harris just got it. From the slight glances to the soft tone..He was Dumbledore.
