Here are some updated pics of my milksnake phase. She was out on breeding loan for the last few months.

And two more to show the nice difference in color from her saddles and blotches nearest her belly.

Wow, those bottom splotches are YELLOW. That is one amazingly "clean" looking snake . . . :) It just pops!

She was bred to a lavender, but only laid six eggs. Two were slugs and the other four didn't make it. She probably needed another year to beef up. Hopefully she'll be considerably larger next year, and I'll have a male milksnake phase for her.

Very Cool Edmund

I love the milksnake phase, to bad they don't have more of a following. This year I got 10 good eggs from a pair of corns that are double het for lavender and milksnake phase motley. I'll be sure to post some pics as soon as they hatch. I plan to move the 1.2 young breeders soon after the hatching.

Beautiful snake.
Russ

Great snake Edmund! She almost doesn't look real...more like she was created by a very talented young artist painting only by someone's brief verbal description...if you know what I mean.

That snake is such a gem! I still think that's the nicest milk snake phase I've ever seen! Thanks for posting updated pics!

Thanks for the compliments everyone. I feel lucky to own such a nice looking corn snake.

Russ, I agree, there isn't too much of a following with this cultivar. But the people that are into them seem very passionate and have nice examples. I'd love to see what hatches out of your pairing (especially since mine was bred to a lavender as well). I'm curious to see how the pattern trait is passed on. And please PM me if you have an extra male up for sale one day. I may be interested.

Thanks!
