Yeah, it's about a 3.5 - 4 hour drive, and don't let anyone tell you otherwise. I usually travel the more scenic route, taking SR 50 across the state. The worst part is going through Orlando. I try to avoid the toll roads as the time you're supposed to save isn't worth the cost. Instead of taking I 4, you can try I 75 to get you north to whichever road you want to take you east. It'll be a bit out of your way but I find it doesn't have as much traffic. Once on the east coast, Hwy 1 is the best bet north to Daytona.
