temp is 100 F!!!

yea but then how would they digest there food. and bryan LOL pretty sure i take him out of his cage everyday and play him for 2 hours ahaah its just cause its so hot in my room

your suppose to take them out everyday so they can stretch out there lungs and get exercise

nanci told me that, so im gonna go with what she says

Yea that's for "breeding" I only have one snake. Maybe you should checkup on your corn snake info cause you didn't do a lot of research

Yea but most of you guys have a lot of snakes. This is my first snake and I want to make sure that he's healthy and all and I like taking him out and just letting him slide through my fingers

I obviously wait 48 hours before handling him

Now that you clarified your everday handling, what are you doing about the heat

But stop telling people it is REQUIRED for the health of the snake. If the snake is in an enclosure that is too small, the animal has more problems than how often it is handled.

If it is on "Low" and it is not on a thermostat, it could still get too hot. Didn't you say it was on low and still 100 degrees?

If your room is too hot, just turn the heat for the enclosure off.

NO heating element should be used without some sort of regulator.

I just saying that it's good for them to get some fresh air

I am thinking this kid is a troll now, so this is my last post on this.

AGAIN, there is nothing WRONG with handling your snake. But to say it is REQUIRED for the health of the snake, as YOU wrote as solid, hard rock truth, is irresponsible and ignorant.

I'm done.

If you want to hold you snake eveyday. That is up to you, no one will yell at you. Well unless you are doing it after he eats then we might. :) But as I believe the point was trying to get across is that it is not required.

I'm not trolling lol you just don't seem to understand and I never said it was " required " LOL so just leave an stop thinking you know everything about snakes and I don't hold him after 48 hours

Please turn the pad off and leave it off until you get a control device for it. One hundred degree temps will kill your snake. If it was attached to a therostat, the thing wouldn't turn on anyway based on your room temps.

You basically have until your bedroom temps fall into the 70's to get the hot side set up properly. Too hot will kill your snake faster than too cool will...

Call me whatever you want, just learn about that animal you have taken in, and be sure you know your facts before giving advice to anyone - especially on a site like this where people know their stuff. And yes, people who know more than I do, as well.

And you will go a lot further if you WILL gain some humility and tact.
