Using het SG would be ridiculous, what in the world would you do with all the poss het SG you hatch in the breeding trials. I could somehow justify hatching snakes that I had to kill off if I had a GOOD reason, like because I needed them to feed some other species of snake. But if you want to test animals at least use a stargazer for the test animal and not a het. You can't use POSS hets for testing and you can't give them away and hope people won't breed them, you pretty much would have to euth them.
I have a snake that is het motley, has been paired with motleys and het motleys, in 10 or so clutches I have gotten ONE motley snake fathered by that male.
