that is one good looking snake!!! Are those kind of snakes tame and easy to handle??? well compared with a corn snake since u said u were surprised that he showed no aggression at all!!! I havent heard about those kind of snake

Well no actually. They are known for being pretty aggressive as they do not like to be handled. The man I got him from said he was the most tame out of the three he had. This one never bit him but the others were pretty vicious little suckers. Mine will get a little jumpy at times so I have to be extra careful and gentle while I am holding him.
 
David, I swear that snake is getting better looking with each progression session you take. Can't wait to see him in the months and years to come.

Update!

It has been too long since my last update! So Jimmy has been doing great! He always eats and has grown so much since October! His colors are even more vibrant and he shed yesterday so I decided it would be a good time for another photo shoot. He is the best snake ever for posing. After you get him to a branch, banister, or even bed frame, he just sits there and lets you snap away.

So here he is! Enjoy.

You have one BEAUTIFUL snake there!!! Amazing! Love the color and the stripe! Glad that you have one that is relatively calm as I have heard lots (and experienced a little with my beauty snakes) about the OW Rats.

There are actually a few types of Bamboo Rats. Jimmy is a Thai (Red Mountain Rat Snake). This group of snakes are pretty expensive because they are hard to breed (and don't lay many eggs) and hard to get from the wild to start a breeding project. I got Jimmy for 350 but thats because the breeder is great and he is a male. A female would set you back a good 700 or more.

HE'S SO PRETTY!!!!!!!!! I want a breeding pair of these... no! make that... 1 male, and 5 females. Gonna give that boy his own little harem.
