The Brecon Beacons

Dave will you stop posting pics of Gods own country...... They will all start to over run us when they realise what we have here....LOL

Yup, I am soooo moving there! Bring the Americans to the UK, woot! Thanks Dave for showing these beautiful pictures! Now I know where I want to pave down and put up a house and plop down a bunch of cows. Or better yet, an entire city! :grin01:

Seriously though, great pictures! I liked the one looking up at the tree and also the waterfalls. :)

Ha ha, thank you very much! I'm glad you like Wales. I'll be going on a school field trip in a few months to a place called the Gower. It's an area of outstanding natural beauty, so of course I'll take my camera. :)

If you travel around the coast line from the Gower peninsular into the Pembroke nation park (Tenby area) the scenery just gets better and better. I particularly like the Napoleonic sea fort at Tenby...

Great photos!

Wales was always my favorite place in the UK, havent been there for a few years now :(

Thanks mate! I've been to Birmingham once, about 3 years ago, there was a convention there for Warhammer (don't do it anymore, so I haven't been there since). :)

Right, as promised people, here are some more shots of the Beacons and the surrounding areas. :)

Good you finally updated this! I love that last picture with trees and twilight.
I haven't forgotten our picture pact, it's just gas went up and I really am limited to areas close by and also been busy with my job search. I will try to go on a nice hike and photo session soon.

Don't feel pressured to do anything Jen, do it when you're good and ready! :) Oh and thank you :)

On the subject, how goes the job search? Oh and you're lucky you don't live in the UK in that respect, our petrol (gas) prices are extortionate compared to yours!

Oh and thanks Lenny!

It's going OK Dave, thanks for asking. I got a couple of the dreaded 'thin letters' in the mail, but also have had some promising interviews and more coming up.
I meant to say petrol, my 'lorry' is not the most economical (That's the word for pickup truck, right? ;))
I think maybe a nice hike tomorrow is just what I need !

Oh good, well I wish you the best of luck with your search! :)

Well in Britain, a lorry is a one of the big, huge trucks that transport goods and cargo etc. I think we call pickup trucks 'vans'. ;)

Wow, more great pictures Dave!

My fav is the last one too!

Can't rep you , sorry, cos I have to spread some more before I can give it to you again :(
