The progress of a little "Greeri"(pic heavy)

This is Shnitzel, my pride and joy.

He was the last of his clutch, no one wanted him you see. He was so lonely in his small plastic cage... no friends to play with.

That was around march 2007. He was 6 months old already and yet, no one wanted to give him any TLC...

My first snake, a corn named Tiras(which is corn in Hebrew) died... and I was devastated. I wanted a snake, but couldn't handle taking another corn, it was too much for me at the time.

I bought this little fellow because frankly, he was the cheapest. He didn't really thrill me. Boy was I an idiot.

Today he is an inseparable part of my collection and I would not dream of selling him, ever.

So here is Shnitzel, my little amazing Durango mt. Kingnsake:

B..bu... but why no one wantz meez?

Wow it isn't often I see a king that I like - but I really love his colors and the way the red is bigger then smaller then bigger again - he's a stunning boy! You made the right choice!

Yeah, I adore him. He is such a shy and gentle thing too. He never even -thought- about hissing or biting.
I really am so glad I got him. From what I understood later on, he turned out to be the prettiest of his clutch :)

And thank you all for the compliments! He is currently brumating, is around 2 weeks time he will be back and all active :)

Very pretty greeri, you need a g/f for him though!

Him and me both, I am not sure which I prefer to find first errr....

Hehe, the moment I pick up a scent of a female Greeri for sale, I'll be on it. It's just an extreme rarity here. I suspect there may be some babies these summer. If the prices will be decent I'll pick up two female babies.

Wish me luck :)

Aw, what a pretty and nice looking snake! I like his colors and pattern and yeah, I thought he looked like a nice fellow when I saw the pics. How sweet. :)
