The Progression of Star Gazing Research?

Medevil_Nuke

Cornsnake Enthusiast
Hello again Cornsnakes.com, yes it is I: Genetics Boy, and I have finally returned after my long absence following the passing of my own Corn Sylvester; however! I come with purpose!
Seeing as it is time for me to begin research of my own in the field of genetics soon, and I'd rather research an animal that fascinates me (yep you guessed it Corns), I'm looking for a place to start.

Has anyone read/see/heard of any current or any research being done about Star Gazing, if so, can you link me any of that information?
I'm planning on seeing if I can do any research about it myself, meaning finding out where exactly Star Gazing is in Corn Snakes. This could lead many places, but I'd much rather not get ahead of myself.
So please if anyone has anything concrete please show me!

hmmm...I think I know the deal...third pm coming to ya...

If you still have trouble, it is because that site can not be linked directly. Tell them the name of the site, not the url and have them put it in Google.

Thanks Susan, by the second pm it clicked for me...Told him to do just what you suggested, good ol' Google :)

Hey thanks alot guys! I've been reading about some interested in a blood test for Stargazing, this is possible, but it wouldn't even have to be blood if I am correct.
Yes. I think there is a possibility of using skin sheds for testing stargazing; however don't expect a definitive proof overnight. :p

But it seems also as of yet nothing big seems to be going on outside of large breeding projects :/ correct me if I'm wrong here.

If you find anything new, keep me posted!

I don't follow it enough to be a source of info, for sure...I'm sure those working with SG will post any new info on that relevant thread :*)

I also recommend looking at Connie and Chuck's research. I'm sure that by now you have enough information to find your way over there. ;)
