This is not a fish-related thread, I promise! :)

I've got news! After couple of days of looking at different morphs, we finally decided we want a motley. So tonight we went to buy the equipment, but they had this little two month old baby hypo motley that we liked so much, so we brought her home with us. Yes, it's a female, and since we're not getting a snow now, we changed the name---her name is Pretzel :)

After a little bit of handling, we let her in her new home. It has a heated pad under the right side and a hide on top, and the water is on the cold side. Interestingly enough, after some exploration she decided to hide in the aspen shavings under the water bowl (on the cold side), and hasn't been out for hours now.

Here she is, probably not a perfect morph, but we already love her so much, and in our eyes she's beautiful!

Very nice! I found it surprising the amount of time that my snake spends on the cool side. His water bowl is a hide as well, and in the week I've had him, he's spent 90% of his time under there. Congrats on your new pet!

Very lovely looking snake! I'd definitely get some more deco for the vivarium though, so your snake will be more comfortable with venturing out (e.g. plastic plants, more hides). Mine love hanging out under the water bowl as well :)

Thanks :)

Yes, I'll get one more separate hide for the cold side and a nice branch for her to climb on as soon as I can visit the reptile shop again, hopefully tomorrow.
