So today was going wonderfully. Ziggy made a poop, plan on feeding him tomorrow, dinner with the family, went to see Atonement...

Went to drive home from the theater...

This parking garage is damn small, I pulled out of my spot, was about to make the sharp turn to go down the ramp when this guy flew up the other side straight for my lane. So to avoid a head on collision, I opted to hit a wall.

I hate my life right now.

...oh and if that wasn't bad enough, I GOT A PARKING TICKET!

Oh, here are some pictures of the damage...

What a bummer! But, its just a car, you can get it fixed :)

Did that happen in Truckee? I spent two summers doing songbird research up there, I loved it!

What's really funny is, I was just thinking while I was driving over there is how people get so worked up about damaging their cars.:bang:

I'm going to go see how much it is going to cost tomorrow.
Door still closes fine, window still goes up and down fine.

I really need a smoke...too bad I quit.

Damage doesn't look too bad from the photos though, Dents should pull out and scrapes can be covered up by a partial re-spray.

't-cut'll sort it!'

Important thing is ya didn't get hurt!.

Could have been soooo much worse! Sorry to hear you had a bad day though! The damage isn't that bad - shouldn't be a big deal to fix!

At least you're ok! A head on collision would have been so much worse. Please don't start smoking again because of this!

Sorry about the car, but glad you are OK. I hate those days when you know going back to bed would be better then staying up waiting for the next thing to happen.

Oh man! Sorry about your vehicle, I'd be so mad. Any chance you got the guys plate or anything? I am not sure if it would help or anything since he did not actually collide with you but he did force you off the road so...

No I didn't get plate numbers, because "techinally" it is my fault.

Everyone is right though, at last I didn't get hurt.

Sorry for your bad day. Just remember--things always get worse before they get better. Well some thing like that.:shrugs:

At least you had some good happen--Ziggy went poo!! :dancer::dancer:

Actually, This is the time to crawl up and die. I had my Brand new car less than 24 hours when I was re-ended. Ended up just over $6000 damage. my son wasnt hurt but I was....

Ouch!!!

Good thing you guys were no worse for wear.

And look at the bright side, it wasn't your fault!

I don't have pics, but I had an old Toyota Celica. I was parked in city lot while going to farmers's market. I was walking back to the car when I saw this brand new pick-up try to squeeze between my car and another. Yup, he hit mine wiped out the mirrors electric and front fender, $1,500.00 on my car $2,500 on his still had dealer tags. Just to add to it that morning he got a new cell phone from his Mom, the truck from Dad for graduation. Walked up on bridge to take pick of river, YUP dropped phone in river. It was sad.
