Today is Feeding Day!

I noticed last night that some of his siblings are getting a little dull in their body. If he stops exploring don't be to surprised cause he maybe getting ready to shed already. Right now I would continue with your plan to feed him on wednesday but if he does go into "blue" then wait till he sheds to offer him food.

The ONE time mine didn't eat was about 5 days before a shed.....but MAN was he hungry afterwards!

I feed mine in their tubs, placing the pinky in a pvc tube that they have as a hide. If they haven't fed after I fed the batch on my table, so within I think 15-30 mins, they are placed in their warmed closet to have the opportunity to eat it overnight. Most of them do eat within the next hour, the rest eats at night. Some will only eat if left for the night forever but most will start to eat at the table already or within an hour after that eventually.

So today was feeding attempt number two. I ran the water as hot as it would go, heated the pinkie in it for 10 mins in a plastic baggie, then ran more hot water and held it under till it was good and hot. I placed it in the tub with Tungsten and covered him with a dish towel to make sure it was dark and set the timer for 60 minutes. The time came and went... still hasn't eaten. I also tried to see if he looked maybe as though he was going to shed... his eyes are bright and he is still shiny... :\

We tried reheating the pinkie, snipping its head, left him for another hour... still nothing. So we reheated it again, put him back in his tank and left the pinkie there overnight to see if maybe he just wanted to eat it in his own environment... still he did not eat. :(

Hmmm What did I write down in his feeding notes? Wasn't it just f/t unassisted and f/t after that?

He sure is going to break you into snakes isn't he? I would leave him alone again for another 5 days and try to feed again at that time. His siblings that are left here have started shedding so I still wondering if that is what is going on.
