Tribute to Yeska

ArpeggioAngel

Around Here Somewhere....
Today was one of the hardest days of my life.
I had to put my sweet Yeska girl to sleep. She was very sick and I know I did the right thing by her - but it doesn't make it any easier. She was such a good girl, always very independent. We got her as an adult - someone had found her living under a dumpster. She never did like being held or cuddled (even though I would do it anyways!), but did purr her heart out for a good bit of petting.

I will miss her...there will never be another cat quite like our Yeska.

RIP my sweet little hemingway kitty.

I'm so sorry you had to put her down. She does look like she's got a little bit of that cat "spunk"

I'm so sorry there was nothing to be done for her. I saw her, though- it was for the best. Poor baby. At least she got lots of treats in her final days! She lived a nice long life.

She was definately quite the character.

Sorry for your loss.
Thank you.

Aw I am sorry for your loss,
I must say, it's a pretty cat.
Thank you. She was a very pretty girl - really fluffy - and of course - with her polydactyl toes - she was really cute. She would use them to grasp things like a human thumb.

I'm so sorry there was nothing to be done for her. I saw her, though- it was for the best. Poor baby. At least she got lots of treats in her final days! She lived a nice long life.
I know it was the best thing for her. At least she isn't in any more pain or suffering any more. I knew going in to the vet today that it was going to be the only option - but it still breaks my heart. Poor little Gabriel keeps walking around crying and looking for his buddy.

You gave her a better life and I am sure she had a great one with you.
Though I know it does not make the loss, of a beloved pet, any easier ... In the end, you, also, gave her the kindness of a selfless act.
My heartfelt condolences.

My condolences, Katie. It's always tough losing a loved one - I'll do my own personal "Duval Crawl" in honor of one of Papa Hemingway's charges.

RIP Yeska.

*hugs* Sincerest condolences Katie, it's never easy when we have to say goodbye to a valued member of the family, I'm sure she had a grand life with you though.

RIP Yeska

BIG HUGE hugs to you! I am not looking forward to the day when I have the same decision to make, thats for sure. :)XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX:)

We're so sorry hun....

Having just put a cat and a dog last year we know it hurts. Wish there was a magic word or something we could give ya to make it better. But as we all know, time is the only remedy.

Lisa just cut the beer off from me.
