Can someone please tell me the difference between a "Ultra" and a "ultramal"?

How would I tell the difference? Is an Ultra look like a really clean normal and an Ultramel an Amel. version?
If you're hatching ultras and ultramels in the same clutch, you won't necessarily be able to tell the difference. It might require raising them up and doing breeding trials to find out their genotype. (When doing breeding trials, any "ultra" that throws amel offspring is carrying the amel gene, thus it's genetically ultramel.)PJCReptiles said:I have used a genetics predictor to find out my possibilities. It said I could have Ultas and Ultramels. How would I tell the difference? Is an Ultra look like a really clean normal and an Ultramel an Amel. version? Here is a pic of a baby Ultramel from South Mountain Reptiles - Don Soderberg. I couldnt find a pic of an Ultra.
Scroll down on the foorum issues till you see almost at the end the forum of SNAKES ALIVE . There you on Joe Pierces forum aprt you can see Ultra vs Ultramel .PJCReptiles said:I have used a genetics predictor to find out my possibilities. It said I could have Ultas and Ultramels. princess mvervest- I hope to get my little Ultramel mating by the end of march and if he does then I can hope for some Ultramel and Ultramel motley hatchlings by Hamm -the female is poss het anery so I might have Ultramel anery and Ultramel anery motlies too (If I'm extraordinarily lucky!)[/QUOTE said:I that case I wish you all that luck , even Ultra anery is quite exceptional on this side of the ocean :crazy02:
