Thank you! I've never hatched any out myself, so I'm curious to watch their colors develop.

Six of them shed today, and the last egg, which I though was unsure about hatched two days ago, making the total for the clutch 24.

Here's a couple decent photo's I managed to snap before they decided posing was no fun. The colors in the last photo are a little dark.

Very pretty babies! I should have some ultramel mots and golddust stripes hatching soon and now I'm even more excited. LOL

Tim - Actually, these are completely unrelated to the amel you have. Different mother and father

Thanks everyone, glad you liked them. More good news today too! I went through to record the sheds, then took out the 9 that shed today. Four of the five looked significantly different, and I actually think my amel stripe is het caramel! Here are a few comparison pics between the ultramels and (possible) golddusts. The last shots are of a golddust's eye, to see if it had the yellow tint. They don't catch the color of the snake that well though, so I'm not sure how they did on the eye.

Great job Turner. Nice clutch. These should color up very nice as they grow. Congrats!

Turner great looking babies. Is their mother the same as the Amel you sold me?
Tim, I think I might have a clutch mate to yours. I was fortunate enough to get one of Turner's Amels a while ago. When I first saw it I thought it was an Ultramel. I will have to get some updated pictures of her to post so you and Turner can see how she is turning out and you might make comparisons to yours. Quite nice if I do say so myself.
Again Turner, great clutch. Hopefully you will still have some for the upcoming local Expos so I might be able to lay eyes on them thar beauties. ;)
Jay

I bet I'll have some left Jay. Actually, I was expecting to finally have a table at the New Hampshire show, but the payment got lost in the mail at some point and they have no record of receiving it. I'm stuck on the waiting list for now. I will definitely be at the Maine show though.

I think you guys have snakes from two different years, actually. Tim's got a 2008 hatchling and I think yours is a 2007, right Jay?

Nice ultramels.. You must have gotten them from someone in Cali.. They have that certain look, especially the spot on the eye ridges..

Regards.. Tim of T and J

good guess! The father is from Stephen, so yes, these guys have some California blood in them.

Congrats Turner. Thos are beautiful hatchlings! I might just have to fight Jay for a look at those golddusts! ;)
