This guy was the first ultramel blood we hatched last year. He has really turned a stunning deep red over the past year; much brighter than any blood or hypo blood we've seen before!

This is what he looked like last year as a hatchling:

Quite a difference, eh?

WOW!

That thing is great! I figured ultramel would make them bright,I cant wait to produce mine next year! Very awesome animal!:cheers:

Ya! What they said! Seriously though that thing is spectacular. I am gonna have to get my hands on one of those things, that's for sure.

What a difference. I wasn't at all impressed with any of the ultramel blood hatchlings, but that change is to die for!! Hmmmm...I really need to get some ultra into my collection; especially after seeing your ultramel blood!!

Sweet, I thought about that project myself.. I just have issues finding outlets for surplus animals now.. Thanks for sharing...

Regards.. Tim of T and J

wow that is stunning what a differance a year makes

Agreed. We are very surprised at the drastic change this snake has made in just one year. It seems that our other bloods usually took longer to fully develop color. Who knows what this guy will look like in another year! :uhoh:

Any chance of an outdoor picture with only natural light? Red is so much more alluring in its full boldness, a rich deep color. Flash steals the essence.
