Caught by me in South Florida, just a little ways from where I live. This boy is an unusual straw or copper color but my camera keeps washing the colors out.
Nice find David, almost looks like a caramel. I think Rich Z found his original caramel in a South Fl. pet store, so it wouldn't be much of a stretch to take a guess that that may be something similar.
Florida allows you to collect non-protected species such as corns for personal use. This one I am hoping to test breed him, I have a special female ready. Here she is.
That one looks more like it has some of the Keys blood in it than carmel. Many end up a great golden color like that. Maybe it blew over in a hurricane.
