I'm a registered republican. Have always voted republican until the last presidential election. I did NOT like our candidate at all (McCain scared me, he's too conservative). There are many times I have thought of changing to independant though. Because the older I get the more I dislike both party candidates and feel it sometimes is very hard to not feel like I'm wasting my vote.

I was interested to see the number of libertarians here. I'd never heard the term before I joined this site and read a few threads in which Kathy Love posted about the party.

It doesn't suprise me to find this many libertarians on a snake board. We're often fighting for our hobbies against ever-encroaching big government.

Look how close the spread is between the top three with a close 4th. I am amazed that it is that even.

I am pretty much a lurker on this board but here it goes ....

I am a registered Independent. Pretty much because when I was in college i didnt like the thought of being considered a member of a specific party when I didnt know for sure what that parties position was on every issue. Now that I've been voting for over 25 years I find that I usually end up voting Republican. Although as most have said, it is truly the issues at hand that decide my vote.
