Still playing around with this video stuff. Kind of fun, but it sure can be a pain sometimes trying to make things work right. Maybe another 20 years I'll be better at it..... :)

That was a really cool video! Congrats on all the successful clutches! :0) I loved some of those mommy snakes...I can't wait till my snakes are old enough to have some eggs of their own..Do you take the eggs and incubate them or do you leave them with the mother snake?

beautiful snakes and some great looking clutchs!! Some of the mommys didnt look too happy about being 'caught in the act' :)

I have one question though.... what is the one female that looks like a candycane? is it a candycane or is it some kind of cinder??

Actually I believe fertility was better during the last half of laying, but I didn't get to video those. Connie had to carry the load while I was recuperating from my appendix wanting some attention.

Thanks.

Your snakes are gorgeous! I love the yellow one...sorry, I don't know morph names yet. Thanks for sharing!

Thanks guys. I can't wait to get video footage when the babies hatch out.

I need to work on the lighting because the colors aren't as rich as they should be. Still learning this camcorder. And now lately I learn about the FULL HD format.......... :crazy02: I've also got a Blu-Ray burner that I need to try this stuff out. Record and copy to Blu-Ray in high definition with 5.1 surround sound...... :dancer:

Wish I had the time to REALLY get into this stuff in depth.

Really enjoyed that, Rich! What is up with that one l-o-n-g egg in the last clutch? Wow!

Thanks for sharing!

Sorry, but this is one of my special projects that I'm not saying much about at this time....

Damn!! LOL :D She is beautiful! I would love to have one like her and mate her with Carol's amel cinder :D Will you be offering any of her off spring or will they all be holdbacks since its a special morph your working on??

Sorry.... Not planning on selling any anytime soon. I'm not even sure what it is yet myself. The line it came from threw several of these unexpectedly one year. This was the first year breeding them and fertility wasn't all that great.

If it were only a single animal, I would say it was just a fluke, but the number produce seems to indicate the possibility of a reproducible genetic trait involved.

Oddly enough the entire group also has plain unmarked bellies, so I'm really not sure what I am dealing with..... :shrugs:

That really is so cool. I sure cant blaim you for holding on to them :) I would be too! I hope that the fertility gets better for you on these. Will be interesting to see what comes from the eggs from the 2 crossed. I hope it can be reproduced. The male she was bred with was a similar looking sibling? Very spendid looking :)

No, ALL of the examples that look like that are females. So I had to fall back to what I hope is the father. I did keep a male from the clutch that doesn't carry the trait, but this time around, I thought he might just complicate matters trying to figure out what was going on.

I hope its the father. Would be nice to get some males that look like that. Wish you all the best in that! I am excited to see what comes out of the eggs :) They might not be for sale but it sure would be nice to have some more to drool over LOL

Hey Rich,
FINALLY got that thing downloaded to view.............WHEW !! Dial-up sucks !!

Anyway, it's very impressive. I did view the photo vid you shot also. Now you are talking about a hatching vid. You should compile the three along with some footage of you facility and publish a DVD, especially that you can do it in blueray.

As I, I'm sure quite a few people would be interested in a SerpenCo DVD !!
Just a thought bud :laugh01:

Walter,
:crazy02: BOUT' CORNS !!
