Corn Crazy!!!
This is the male creamsicle corn that I currently have. He is my only snake right now. He is a little over Two years old. Anyway, I would like a female to possibly breed with this male. If it were you, what morph would you get? Here are some pictures of him:

Another creamsicle. Striped creams are gorgeous!
Creamsicles are cornsnake/great plains ratsnake hybrids.
No matter what you breed your cream to, the babies won't be pure corns.
 
Thank you for your reply. When I first bought him two years ago at a reptile show, I brought him home and joined this sight and bought two or three books on cornsnakes. I found out then from both sources that my snake is a hybrid. This didn't affect the way I felt about the snake, I find hybrids to be cool actually. However, as a first-time snake owner it would have been nice for the breeder to have mentioned that to me at the time of purchase. Anyway, breeding him with another creamsicle is certainly a consideration.
 
I agree with starsevol. Another creamsicle is almost a must, otherwise you risk muddying up the corn gene pool. Because if you breed to a corn, some if not all of the babies will look like corns, and if they're ever breed down the line under the assumption they're pure...it's just not something a lot of people here like. I'm not against hybrids (though I tend to be more "against" than "for"), but at the very least I think they should stay identifiable as such. Creamsicle/corn hybrids may not be.

But seriously, do a search on striped creamsicles. I can't remember who, but a few members here breed them. They are incredibly gorgeous. :)
 
They are beautiful. I believe that the breeder that I got him from had some. In fact, I almost bought one, but I was told that they have a temper and are more nervous. This was my first snake and I was cautious. Has anyone who has these found this to be true? Also, are there any other hybrids that would be considered exceptable to breed with my creamsicle? Thanks for your replies.
 
maybe a rootbeer? I think that's the normal corn/emoryi cross rather than amel. If it was het amel you'd get creamsicles and rootbeers, otherwise just rootbeers het amel babies.

correct me if I'm wrong, I don't really keep up with breeder genetics.
