I LOVE the amount of variation within the Anery morphs. Everybody's pictures are awesome!!

One thing to keep in mind when planning to breed an Anery to a Caramel is that Anery masks Caramel. That means you could have an animal that is actually homo for Caramel and Anery but only looks like an Anery.

That said, Sunkissed Anerys and Sunkissed Caramels would definitely be an awesome project!!

Good luck.

I know about the anery masking the caramel but the 2011 corn morph guide says that it usually effects the saddles and keeping the darker instead of getting lighter brown.
But yes, sunkissed anerys and sunkissed anery caramels would be a definite awesome project.

Sweet, well it definitely sounds like something cool to experiment with! The more homo traits a snake has the better I say! (Hrm, that sounded kinda bad... )

lol nice, yeah I'm just curious how much darker the caramel makes the saddles on the Anery. I haven't seen any pictures of Caramel Anerys around and I read in the 2011 Corn Morph guide that;
'It appears that caramel is unable to exert its yellowing influence when anery is showing. As a result, these individuals were expected to look like any other anery. However, many existing specimens have shown a tendency to stay darker and not turn brown in the saddles.'

I think the AneryBlood's look pretty sweet too. Does anyone have an anery that they've bread with a Caramel? I'm interested in what someone's actually came up with.

I've had a couple of pairings this year that mix those 2 genes...plus others, but I expect all normal babies this year. Now in another 3 years, there will be some interesting stuff hatching out!

The pairs: Butter X Ice and Caramel het Amel Stripe ph Hypo X Dilute Anery Motley het Hypo

Some from us.

Sunkissed Ghost (SQLine)
Ghost Bloodred
Ice phet/hom sunkissed
Anery Motley/Striped het Lavender
Ultramel Anery het Motley

Greetings
Chris

First is supposed to be a granite stripe (Anery/Diffused/Stripe)...we shall see.
Second is a run of the mill Anery.
Loving to see everyone's gorgeous morphs with Anery. Need a new bib to catch all the drool. :)

Stu the Sunkissed Anery's head is crazy!!!
But I also like the pink anery, the markings on the head pretty much connect with the lines down the body, it's pretty.

Or Some Dilute anerys, first Dilute Anery Bloodred striped motley female and a dilute motley stripe hypo male.
