Watch your feet! Snake Loose!!

First let me say that I am so, so, so, very sorry for what you are going through! A zig-zag! OMG! I'd jump on that too if I had a spare home for one!

Secondly, I had a friend whose ball python got loose in the car. ( Yes, I know. Its a much bigger snake but bear with me.) "Elvis" decided to coil himself up INSIDE the underside of the car seat. And if a ball python can get himself in there, what about an itty bitty baby?? IF she's in the car, you might want to check there. ( Hopefully without ripping the seat completely apart! )

I do so HOPE she's NOT in the car. I hope you find the little one in your underwear drawer like someone else, alive and well. When will someone make snake detectors like they have metal detectors?????

Here's hoping for all the Irish luck a gal can send you in your quest to find your little treasure. I want this story to have a happy ending.

GOOD LUCK!

Devon

Thank you for the luck. That makes two irish gals, wishing for good luck. (my wife is half irish!) I am concerned that she may not have made it if she is in the car. Last night, it got down, way below freezing. It has gotten below freezing every night, since she went missing. I don't have much hope for her, if she is in the car. Just like Justine, I am praying she made it into the house and is coiled up in some warm spot, that I haven't looked in yet. I still have my fingers crossed!

Oh you poor thing... I'm new here so we haven't met, but I just wanted to wish you all the luck in the world finding your poor baby...

It sucks losing any pet. It sucks even more on how big pet store treat snake and other small animals. But I do hope you find her and that she is safe and sound.

AWW I was hoping for the "I found it" update. Good luck, I am still keeping my fingers crossed that you guys find the lil bugger.

Aww. I was hoping for a "Found her!" too. Bummer. I still have my fingers crossed for you and your little girl!

Wayne I feel for you. I have good news about one I lost over 2 weeks ago. I placed traps everywhere and water bowls too. We first got our 50/50 cal king and on day two of having him he got out. I drilled one hole in his tub TOO BIG and he squeezed out. We tore the house up to. Well this morning @ 7:05 he showed up in the basement in the laundry. He has had nothing to eat in my care. I was going to feed him when I discovered he was gone. Well my wife caught him and came running saying she had him. Well I watered him and heated him up since he was cold. Then I gave him a pinkie and it was gone really fast. He was starving. Now he's in a kritter keeper for a little while til he gets bigger.
Good luck and don't give in to it being lost forever. It will show up in the strangest place and at a strange time.
Any update on yours?

I lost mine shortly after I got it as it found a hole I had not
I found it the next day on a shelf in the bathroom above the radiator.
The size he was meant that he had to have used the radiator to get up there and it as at his furthest stretch, so he will turn up in an unexpected place at a time you do not expect.

Well, it's officially been three weeks since we lost the guy (amel zigzag). I have officially, but not completely, "given up" looking for him! I am at a point that if I believe that if he is going to turn up, it would have to be a "small miracle"! Especially, since I have no idea where it was, he had gotten out. I think if he gotten out at the store or in the car, then he either could not have survived (it was VERY COLD!), or he is completely lost. If he got out in the house, then he is, at this point, most likely and unfortunately turned into, cat poop by now. :puke01:

PetCo, has done little (actually nothing), to help us during this time, but at the same time, I didn't expect them to do anything, anyway. We did however, go back and purchase two more amel zigzags and have successfully brought them home, placed them in the quarantine rack and they are doing great! I am sure to have pics of them, in the coming weeks, just as soon as they settle in. Unfortunately, they aren't as nice looking as the original ziggy, but they are quite beautiful, none the less.

As far as the original ziggy male, I would love for him to turn up, because I am not kidding about how perfect this little guys marking were, but at the same time, I am not very optimistic. :headbang: I was so excited to get him home, on the day I purchased him, so I could take a few pics of him, but a las, it wasn't to be. I am a firm believer in destiny and if he is destined to be mine, then he will, turn up! If he doesn't turn up, then I will cherish the few moments, I was able to spend with him.

Thank You!! ALL, for all the kind words and support that was given to me, during my time of need. I appreciate it more than any of you, could ever know!! Your kind words and thoughts, are just a testament of how wonderful this site and it's participants, truly are!!

If in the future, if things should happen to change, I will be more than happy to let everyone know! But and until then, please accept my gratitude and appreciation, for everything that everyone has to offer. You all are great, in many ways!!

Thank you all again,

Wayne

Although It's sad to hear you didn't find the first one :( I'm happy you successfully brought home two others :) and cannot wait to see the pictures!

Bummer. :(

I hope the little fella still somehow manages to show up for you. Maybe he has spent three weeks curled up in a warm vent in the car or successfully hidden away from the kitties.

Maybe you'll be able to find another perfectly marked ziggy at the Replite show next weekend!

Here's to hoping!
