I dig'em!
I checked on my snow girl today and she has big huge purple blotches on her sides. They look like bruises, but I have no idea what could have caused them as she's in a rubbermaid with paper towels, and paper hide, and a deli cup water dish. She ate 5 days prior to this and pooped normally already. I tried holding her up to the light, the darkest purple area seems to be concentrated along where her lungs and heart are, and continues along the rest of her. The purpleness is mainly visible in the saddle/side blotch type areas, and not so much on the scales with opaque white/pink (background color)
She shed 2 days ago, but this is the first time I have really looked at her since her shed. She doen't seem to be in any pain, and she's behaving normally. The area doesn't seem tender either. I'm am afraid to feed her in case something might be wrong though. Has anybody ever seen this before or know what could be causing it? She's a 2004 with no previous health problems. I don't have a camera at home right now, but I will try to find one.
