Weird dream

Tiffycj

Western Corns
Just felt like sharing:

In my dream, I woke up to see all the substrate in the viv was almost gone. I then realized it was pushed over to one side. I looked to the side and saw...it had to be 30 baby corns, and 3 unhatched eggs in the viv. I had always thought Pepper was a boy, but I called to my mum that he's in fact a she, and gave birth.
(This makes no sense, as Pepper is about 24 grams, and eve still, had no signs of being ready to give birth)
I assumed that most the snakes were born live, and the others in an egg.
I looked to my side and saw a full grown rat, which I promptly grabbed. It bit me, and i threw it. (None of my dream snakes were big enough to eat a rat!)
I ran upstairs, figuring I should place the newborns in their own containers, but only had food containers left. I didn't have paper towel, so I used some of the substrate to line the bottom. The babies were about 10 grams, but some as high as 30. (Bigger than mama)
I went back upstairs for more containers, and my mum was freaking out cus there were baby snakes hiding in numerous places through the kitchen. Then I was freaking because I was going to be late for school.

This is only a week after my dream of finding a large, active rat snake in my room, and me freaking out because I had nowhere to put him. I decided to try and put it in the same viv as Pepper (nothing I would do in real life), and he bit Pepper :( that was a sad dream

I'm starting to dream about snakes!

LOL!
I have really weird dreams involving snakes sometimes.

I have this really cranky plasma male named Nakor (if you know that name, then you're definitely a sci-fi/fantasy nerd), well I had a dream one night that someone built Nakor a HUGE (like 50ft tall) robot that interpretted snake movements into controlling the robot.
So then, Nakor was super happy as he was going around town in this huge robot destroying everything (houses, power-lines, etc).
I woke up and laughed about it. This was like 2 years ago, and even now the boyfriend still makes fun of Nakor and how much trouble the world would be in if he had a robot that he could control.

I frequently have snakey dreams. Usually they involve finding a really rare corn snake and trying to find a place to keep it as it continues to get smaller. And usually by the end of the dream, I'm overwhelmed by snakes and I can't find safe places to put them all.

I have snake dreams a lot too. I also believe the Freudian association can be dropped when you are a hobbyist (ie: "sometimes a cigar is just a cigar"). But I have two very common themes to my snake dreams.
Dream #1)
I am finding insane mutations while herping. Hot pinks, blues, palmettos, iridescent corns. Usually in a creek, too. I have woken up during that one and tried to go back to sleep to find more!
Dream #2)
Baby snakes bite me, but their jaws are like pliers! HARD, painful bites, over and over o my hands and fingers. That one has woken me up thrashing before.
So one great dream and one awful one.

I have had Chip's dream # 1. It is usually in some woods with a cabin. The snakes are hidden like Easter eggs both in the cabin and outside, around the paths and in the woods. They are not always corns - sometimes a variety of colorful species. I don't have it often, but it is always a nice dream - and exciting, too!

In all of my dreams, Stig tends to go from an anery stripe to some form of red type of cornsnake. Sometimes he starts out his normal color, sometimes he's red from the start.

In one dream, he ate all of the almonds out of my chocolate bars. In another, the cat had bit his tail off and it grew into another snake and ate her. I actually had one last night where he started talking to my husband about driving our car.

Hikisquid, you reminded me, the babies (babies from my Granite), were all sorts. Amels, Anerys, there was a candycane in there, all kinds :p

i had a dream about a 12 foot long hot pink monocled cobra. usually my dreams aren't so pleasant.

I just had my first snake dream(that I can remember).
I was staying at a strange home that had 2 large greenhouse gardens.
Somehow I decided to expand my collection of 2 snakes to 12 which was too
many for me to keep track of. In this collection was a neon colored reverse okeetee,
A lava, 2 Florida kings, a 'green' king, 2 cal kings, and random others. Some came from pet shops, others were rescues, they just kept appearing and the only place I could keep them hidden from my mom (who owned the greenhouse) was to hide them in one of the greenhouses. Well I kept losing track of how many and where they were and eventually my mom found out I was storing them there and instead of her reacting with disgust and rage(like she does in reality) she was fine with it as long as I planned to relocate them later.
The dream got stranger because some of the snakes turned on each other the green king was eating one of the Florida kings and the other Florida king was eating another snake but the neon reverse was always high above the action on the door jams and in the ceiling corners.
I awoke a bit relieved to find all my boys sleeping and not eating each other.
