well.... Isn't this every snake keepers nightmare?

How did you find out it was your sister’s friend? Who is the “legal” head of the household? If it is you then I would notify the police that she is persona non grata in your home so that the next she is near your home you can file trespassing charges against her. I would also think that lots of furry dead animals need to find their way on to her porch, if not her bed.

What does your sister have to say about her "friend's" actions.
 
Thats aweful Ryan! I keep my room locks all the time. When I am in it, while I am at school. And all my vivs are locked and I can't lock a tub. I also have an attack king rat snake LOL
 
I had some pictures of the snakes, And also took the invoices to the PD. Once again, they told me without ~PROOF~ They can't do anything more than talk to the girl and her parents, so apparently they will be doing so today, I left a copy of the invoices (with purchase price) and also Current market price (A breedable Female Jungle is worth quite a bit more than a hatchling) With the police report.

Now to hope I find the last snake, and hope the great escape had no effects on any of the snakes, but If the worse does happen and I find the jag and its passed away... i MIGHT have a legal leg to stand on.. but if I never find it.. then what? :S
 
If you don't actually win I would go to the girls house and demand a refund and show the proof you have. I would also consut a lawyer
 
I'm not going to dig myself into a hole with accusations right now.
I've made the report at the PD. now I have to focus on finding the snake
 
Well, neither the girl nor her parents have denied it - in fact the girl admitted it to you. Let's hope she's daft enough to give the cops her full and frank opinions. She sounds just dim enough to drop herself in it properly.

Unless she does that, I don't think you have any other legal recourse. We have to hope that a visit from the PD will scare the silly little madam into behaving in future (or at least embarrass her parents into exerting some control over her).
 
Hmm, the big problem here is that everything I believe she deserves is illegal to do to another human being........... :nope:
