What are your long term breeding goals?

-I'm going to be continuing my silver queen ghost stripe project
-I have hets for hypo cinder lavender I hatched this year, hoping to breed those in a few yrs as well as cinder/ ghost and cinder/other stuff - this is still a fairly new morph and we haven't begun to see the endless cinder combos that can be created!
-I also will continue to work on the Boyd line locality terrazzos/ original granites
-And last I'm hoping to keep working with a few other colubrid species besides corns

Silver Queen Stripe x Sunkissed Silver Queen = awesome project!

Chip, that scaleless looks fabulous! I have scaleless rats, but will definitely look at picking up a scaleless corn in the future. I want to see a bright screaming orange and high yellow okeetee with solid black saddles, I want to do that for a project but lack the ingredients thus far, I just have some good looking okeetee but they aren't extreme. I also really like the extreme high white reverse okeetees, the ones where they have almost no red at all. And who doesn't want to make the most extreme high white pieds? too many ideas for projects.. And I really want to make the reddest and most banded candycanes that exist, I guess that's my main project :D

Well, after seeing exar15xe's "butter blizzard" I decided I wanted to make one too. Except add motley to it. (just cause my butter is motley) My charcoal is just 35 grams. So it'll be about a 4 or 5 year plan.

I'd not say butter blizzard because than you are actually using the amel in the trade name blizzard en in the trade name butter. It's eiter a caramel blizzard or a pewter butter :)

or you call it butter blizzard because butter snow was also used for a long period - it's just a trade name, not a scientific term...

Mandarin Motleys and Kastanie ghost mots, both with the Copper influence. Was doing Coral snows but there's enough of you'z doing them...

The Kastanie ghost mot sounds like it's going to be beautiful morph and something unique.

JimGERcream- that Platinum bloodred is amazing. When did you hatch him?
Ghosthouse- I've been drooling over your silver queen stripe for awhile now. How is the project coming along?

It doesn't make it easier to understand for people... Butter snow is just as wrong and I have not seen it used, I thought they were always called axantic snow or caramel snow. But hey I know I'm a minority bickering about this.

Not sure what you mean... Pewter butter has same ingredients as caramel blizzard... Or am I overlooking something?

Unofficial tally of popular/newer genes mentioned (based on a quick perusal of the thread):

Cinder: 9
Strawberry: 7
Sunkissed: 7
Pied: 5
Kastanie:3

* Teserra wasn't tallied as it was mentioned throughout and I just assumed it was the king of the hill and a desired part of just about everyone's projects.

** Tallies were counted if the gene was mentioned directly, or a trade name involving it was mentioned, i.e. Peppermint=Cinder tally

Honorable mentions: Red Factor, Oakatee, Lavender, misc pattern morphs

Lookie lookie lookie!!!!! I made a chart :crazy02:

I am starting out slow! I got my first Hypo baby this year which was my first time ever breeding. My goal is to see those lavender hets my hypo has. I also have a pair coming up this year that could give me moonstones.

Caramel Pewter with big black boarders from my Okeetee.

Every time I take out my corns I wish I had a mix of them, so I guess its time to do it. It won't take me too long, I have a Caramel Charcoal het blood and amel male and a huge Abbott's okeetee pair.
