I put other. I don't have room for any more in my home without removing people. I would also like to have a Gibbon Vipor or a Puff Adder but don't like the idea of hots at home, other than my wife.

What stops me from getting the next species or project (i.e., EVERYTHING) is simply real estate. I never have ROOM for everything I want. I'm hoping to get a new 30'x30' snake building built in the next 2-3 months......and I bet I'll be out of room again within 2 years!!! That's because i get the NEXT project until I have no more room. :(

I personally own all species I want so far, the only one I dont have yet is an emerald tree boa, And thats only because I have not came across a nice captive bred speciment that interests me!

For me care requirements is a big one. I have a fear of bugs which means most of the lizards I'd like, I can't have due to the fact they eat bugs. Also my apt is pretty dry in the winter due to forced air, so species that need high humidity are off my list for now. Then price, some of the animals I want are outside my price range. Then it goes to temperament, I like to interact with my animals, so an animal who is pretty nasty would be off my list no matter how much I liked their looks.

Cool and exquisite taste, my friend. I know it's off topic, but can you link me to any ETB's at all? I have always loved them. One of my favorite non corn snake species of al time.

To me "care requirements" encompasses space, temperment, time and size. If it needs a bigger enclosure, more heat/moisture, has personality quirks or any needs beyond what your basic colubrid needs, then I would put it all under "care requirements". I love ATB's and ETB's, as well as burms and rainbow boas, but I'll probably never own them because I am not going to put in that extra effort. I may even get rid of my only RTB because he's going to get too big for my handling comfort.

What limits me is diversification..... I could collect one of every kind, but what would be the point.....
I keep focused on what I am trying to achieve, which is Morelia....
I do have a few other types of snake, some ours some lodgers, they are the 'pets' the Morelia go deeper than that and I still haven't got enough yet....

Size and temperament. I refrain from keeping arboreals because of it, I don't like snakes which are a chore to handle.

Time and space. Otherwise I'd have a Gibbon viper!
