From whom did you get her, it might help as if it is someone I know of it can help ID. If you want to PM me with the name. susan

You should repost her pic down in The Cultivars or Photo Gallery- more people will see it. I can see how you'd think lav- and the pink is actually right, but at the baby stage lavs are a mocha brown and not lav at all, plus a lav would most likely have some or a lot of zigzagging.

I'm not guessing.

I believe I got your PM instead of susang, but hopefully I've been able to help. Here are the photos I promised:

All those photos and then the expert doesn't say what he is!!! Well, I'll go out on a limb and say not a hypo lav!

I remember when Susan first posted the carpet corn- what a match!!

I didn't make any judgments on this one as I'm requesting more photos, or at least larger ones as my eyes aren't what they used to be. The coloration could be a variety of things from what I see, but I would like a closer look at it's eyes and perhaps a belly pic. The background and lighting can make some morphs look different than they do in other backgrounds and lighting. The pic in the hand looks fairly classic ghost, but the other photo makes it look different. Any additional history, like what the parents were, can be of help as well. My guesstimate is basing itself alot on the fact that this was the result of an unintentional breeding by what I'm assuming are the average single- or double-snake keeper and not an addict that many of us are. The use of the term "special red ghost" indicates inexperience in morph knowledge and if the breeder said the snake "looked like a pastel dilute", but is selling on Craig's List and probably didn't charge $150 (the going price for a pastel dilute), he/she probably just looked at some on-line morph guides and guesstimated as well.
