of corse the F2 we all know what the F1 would be normal .the end result is what I would be talking aboutBlutengel said:quote Vinman;'if not mistaking Rich Z did a cross between caramel and lavender and got nothing. that is where the hypo comes in to play lightens up the lavender and lets the yellow of the amber show through.''
You mean that hatchlings of a caramel and a lavender only gave normals? That is not surprising.... or do you mean that the F2 did not produce peach corns? So hypo is needed to show the yellow of the caramel in caramel lavenders?
which one are talking about the first or the second I'm talking about the second snake in my screan it looks a black cherry red . joe I hate to type I wish you would call me . charcoal some times show some tanish orangeist tones in the pattren. I had one from RZ that had a champaine color to the pattren. it was not as deep as the first snake it maybe a charcoal lavender.Joejr14 said:Nah, you need to adjust your screen. The snake is peachyish....looks about like an amber mixed with lavender influence.
That's what originally caught me eye.
Vinman said:no arguing, one thing I've learned hypo lavender and charcoal ghost have a weard eye. On my screan The snake looks like a real dark cherry red

You guys need to check your color balance on your monitors.

The first one definitely doesn't look red, but the second one on your hand... he looks red... maybe he's just reflecting colour off the hooman![]()
The second pic of the second hatchling does show a deep mahogany/cherry red color. Maybe you need to adjust the color balance of YOUR monitor as you've been out-voted! :grin01:Joejr14 said:.....I have both snakes here. Neither one of them is red. The first one is peachy, the second one is black.

Maybe you have to see it in person. It is definitely different. Charcoal eyes, but with the contrast you'd expect to see in an anery, but with a different quality of black in the pattern than anerys.Blutengel said:If that is the case, what is so weird about it? Black saddles on a grey snake....?

Take my word for it, it ain't like no anery or charcoal I've ever seen. If Joe hadn't scooped this one up, I would have taken it.
