Ghost motley...but I wouldn't say het caramel. I think ghosts tend to have more yellow on them than some of the other morphs.

I agree with it looking like a ghost motley. Don't think, myself, that there is any way to say it is poss. het caramel though. shrug.

Ahhh, I see a couple posts added since I started typing..........if you are going by the yellow on the neck, that is very normal for that type of yellow coloration to be on ghost/anery. That yellow does not come from the same gene as what makes the caramel yellow.

I suppose it's an '04 and I don't expect so much yellow way down the body already in a regular ghost. Since het caramel shows up phenotypically in adding yellow, I thought that might be the case here.

Some het caramels CAN show yellow phenotypically, but many do not. Just tossing out 'it's het caramel' because there's yellow on it is not a very good way of guessing genotypes.

We know you weren't saying that it was definitely het caramel. There are many morphs that show extreme yellow. If a snake is het caramel, it tends to look more yellow all over instead of just the sides.

Also, one can't just judge by age. I have several '04s (NOT het caramel) that display extreme amounts of yellow. Here is an example:

And another one (yes, it's a different snake!):

This little one is an '05!

another example of "extreme" yellow...

...and probably not a het caramel :*)

cka- what exactly is that? just a regular snow with intense yellow? or something else? inquiring minds want to know!!

very cool nonetheless :)

well can you believe it
i have managed to track down the breeder that i got ozzy from a breeders show in 04!!
this was his reply

This snake came from a Hypo Motely x Hypo Motely pairing - in the clutch there were Carolina Motely's, Hypo Motelys, Amel Motelys, Anerythristic and Ghost Motleys. Yours should be carrying the Anerythristic, Amelanistic and Hypo genes. :)
