What is this little pink one?

I'm thinking about buying it and I'd really like to know what morph it is.

ah, that's what I thought but I hadn't seen one in person before and didn't realize that the stripe and pattern all together could disappear about halfway down the snake :) thank you

Blazing orange would be my bet. He _might_ also be a fire. The head pattern is somewhat suggestive of that.

Eiram buying it from where? A petstore or a breeder? If its in a petstore I highly doubt its a fire stripe (amel, diffused, stripe)

There's quite a few stories of finding lucky grabs when in pet stores on the site here. You might be surprised at what some pet stores get in just by chance. I agree that it looks like it's got the typical head of a blood red.

I'm going to stick with just amel stripe, because a lot of stripes have reduced head patterns without being diffused.

Yeah it's at the store I work at. Is there any better pictures I can get that would help id it, or is it just a "time will tell" sort of situation?

If you can take an excellent photo of the entire belly that would let us see if it was possibly bloodred.

Thanks Alicia, that site is awesome. I'll try to get a good stomach shot and maybe a better head shot once the snakes settle in

Do bloodred or fire stripes have the bleeding of color into the white belly?

They both can. I would say usually do. But non-bloods can have an orange wash over a lot of the belly, heaviest from the tail up- fading toward the mid body.

What we're looking for on the belly is translucent scales, rather than white. Sometimes you can see through completely.

Belly Picture

He is settled in and ate his first pinkie with us which gave me an opportunity to get the belly shot. Hope this one works ok
