Skink. Can you move him somewhere safe, just in case?

I think that's a male five lined skink.
Broadhead skinks grow large (about a foot in total length).
Five lined are usually less than six inches.
That one has its adult coloration, like this one that I found in Kentucy a few years ago.

Whoty, aren't you from here? I see those glass lizards all the time. Mostly DOR. If you handle one, be careful- they break easily. But they are cool to hold- they have a much more rigid skeleton than a snake and I believe they still have a pelvis and shoulder girdle.
