Where are those old corns?

I've been hanging around these forums for a while now.. and I've never seen or heard of any of the old corns. The photo gallery's always full of '06's or '05's or maybe '02 or '01 if I'm lucky. I've never seen a thread about caring for an old corn or death of an old corn or anything like that!

So here's a thread dedicated to THE oldest corn in your collection, past or present. Include where and when you got him/her, photos if you have any, and any interesting stories you feel like sharing!

Scarlett... shes an 01 sunglow motley with child bearing hips, pissy attitude and amazing feeding response. Shes a looker for a middle aged woman (in cornie years).

*other corn slightly pictured, Panther: an 03 coral snow*

I dont have any *old* corns :shrugs: everyone else is hatchling/yearling.

my old girl...

Monster! She's a 98 special, well, plain old normal het anery and amel. Here she is! In all her "old" glory. But I have to wonder, I know a guy who spouts off about his stuff being in their twenties and still breeding... Well, the more I get to know him the less I believe those stories...I have my reasons! But anyhow, here she is!

My oldest corn is this normal het amel male (I have a female which is the same age). They should turn 10 next year so most likely they are from 97.

They were also the first corns I got so they have a special place in my heart.

This is Kieran, he's an '01 model. The only one I have at the moment. He's a bit washed out in this picture taken in my bathtub :)

My oldest now...

is an snake Lisa calls Mango. A three y/o Sunglow.
The third pic is of Sam. Sold as an Okeetee I got him in 83. He died around 90, 91 as I remember; of what I believe was old age. He was 39" when I got him and 53" when he passed. Don't know his age.
I got as a B-day present in 87 two hatchling corns. I had a forced removal from herpetology and these two went to the Serpentarium in 01. I understand the male died in 03. The female last year.

I dont have a pic of him, but back home my dad has a male Great Plains (actually southern plains) Rat Snake that we caught in 92. At that time he was a young adult, prolly around 3-4. He is still thriving and is huge, 14 years latter. He is almost pushing 20. Great snake with a great temperment, that will eat anything.

I've got a '92 model blizzard named Crone. Got her last year as a retired breeder, but she only bred once or twice in her life. Great feeder, she'll eat anything that comes near her tub. Doesn't seem to be slowing down.

Here's Jonah (AKA Jonesy), an 18 year old '88 model. Still going strong(ish)!
