Sorry about the strictness of this requirement, but it is necessary to block spammers and scammers at the door as much as possible.
I guess to answer that I'd need to know what you mean by better. I know ball pythons are considered a decent snake for beginners. However GTP's are meant for more experienced keepers.
I like the looks of both certain pythons and boa's.
I've kept both boas and pythons, but currently keep carpet pythons. They stay a manageable size as adults, and their basic husbandry requirements are pretty straightforward. I guess it just depends on your personal preference.
I answered pythons because I do like BP and the huge variety of morphs available. Not too crazy about the big Burms and Retics though.... With how many boa owners there are around here I am surprised all four votes so far have been for pythons LOL
Well there are boas I like..and boas I'm not all that fond of....and pythons I like...and pythons I'm not all that fond of. So I don't know how to answer.
Boas. They're beautiful, and come in all sorts of colors!
Pythons are great, but some can get HUGE. If there were cheap Super Dwarf retics, you can bet that I'd have an entire breeding colony of them by now.
