Well, I haven't been around here in about a month due to work. But now that I have some free time, here are some pics to show what a great time I am having with my new horse Nela! She is a Percheron/Belgian draft cross.

Here she is! My friend Sarah was riding her at the time.

Me loping. Yes, I know my legs aren't under me...we really need to work on impulsion and "thinking forward". Right now I do more work than she does to keep her loping, but that soon will change!

Thanks for the comments, guys! Yeah, she doesn't move very fast very often, even on her own out in a field. We worked on lope circles today and boy my legs are sore!!!! :)
