like i said! drop them in a tub of water.. they will be dead before you know it and you might fint it entertaining to see the rodents die painfully muahahahhahahahaha only kidding :p altho i dont like anything that look like rats :p
 
cute? try being bit by one, i used to breed them there horrid, the only reason i put up with it was cuzz i was the only person with mice in my whole town so when i breeded them i made about £500 not bad for a 12 who bought one mice for £3 took it home and then it had 10 babys eh!!

It's much more "humane" to "do the deed" by cervical dislocation. Quick and easy... Makes me cry when they get twitchy tho :cry:

I'm beginning to become a mouse phreak too ;)

I have some brown ones and some dark grey ones with white undersides, quite interesting.

VERY Male heavy babies tho... only 2 females in the group!
 
Mouse don't drown easily... once when I was a teenager I found a toxified mouse at the stables I was hanging around and wanted to drown it to end its suffering... well, I pushed it under water for a horribly long time, a couple of times and it only got more lively... it ended up running off when I took it out and let go of it:eek:

I gotta say, I'm not exactly a fan of this statement, or any of the others you've made in this thread. When a mouse bites you, it's usually because the mouse is hurt or scared. It's a natural defensive response. When you drown an animal or remove it's nails/teeth, especially for your own amusement, that is just cruelty.

Indeed, children who are amused by the suffering and killing of small animals are the making of horribly sick, dangerous and insane individuals as adults.

Good luck with the MURDER. I would probably be less stressful if you killed them than if a snake did.

They are especially cute when they are colorful.
When I was a teenager, I used to work at a pet store and I would get upset with the snake owners when they came in to pick out mice to feed their snakes. They always picked the colored ones...I was always saying pick the white ones, they all look alike! Save the colored ones for people who want them as pets. They can be cute.

Never was fond of the large white rats. I hated moving them all to clean their cages and they would wrap their tails around you to try to hang on. Ugh, had a nightmare about them once when I was working there! A whole room full of big white rats with beedy little red eyes...Ugh.
 
like these?? I dont like the cruelty mentioned in this thread but I do breed my own mice and rats. I dont like doing away with them but my snakes have to eat too :) But I dont thump them... I put them in a ice cream tub and put them in the freezer. That way I dont have to watch.

Freezing them alive is just as cruel as some of the other methods mentioned in this thread. Unless it's pinkies, they die quickly enough in the freezer, but any furred mouse or rat should NOT be frozen alive to kill them.
Put together a CO2 setup, it's just as easy as throwing them in the freezer, but they just pass out and die in their sleep rather than freezing alive.
