Who's your favorite F/T mice source?

I know of RodentPro and the Big Cheese Factory, but anyone got any other sources? I just purchased some F/T mice from CajunMice (which seemed to be the cheapest around besides RodentPro) and I'll let you know how the quality of it was when I receive it on Tuesday.

Cool!

How do I find out if there are any co-ops around my area? I live in Corvallis (Oregon) and I only know about PetCo. Haven't really heard of any other source of pets or supplies here :\

I can't vouch for any of the other online mouse retailers, but I've bought from RodentPro and comparing their mice to those I've gotten from local breeders, they have the best/biggest mice.

There's no way I'll by from anywhere else until I start breeding my own mice.

I agree, the mouse factory has the cleanest, best looking mice I have ever seen and the service is spectacular. ;-)

I get all of my mice locally...in Oregon! Salem to be exact. I'm not sure if Doug sells to the public or not. I'm doing an exotic pet show in Hillsboro this coming weekend with Doug and Jeff, I'll ask if he's interested.

They were selling frozen mice at the last show I did with them. That would be a fun way to get mice, see the show at the same time!

Big Cheese

I used to use RodentPro and have switched to Big Cheese.
I had several shipments from RodentPro with mice covered in fecal matter and urine. Not to mention a lot of the mice looked terribly thin.
The very last batch I got from them (200 weanlings of which I still have about 90) wasn't too bad but Big Cheese is now my provider.

I order from Big Cheese Rodent, fat clean mice, tight vaccum sealed bags, and the boxes come with enough dry ice to last two weeks. :)

They are alot cheaper than petco too.

Heh. Hey mattsnake....ANYONE is cheaper than PetCo. :D

Hey Clint, when and where is that show? Very interested!!! Hope I don't miss it!

The show is at the Hillsboro fair grounds next to the airport. It'll be the 28th and 29th!......THAT'S NEXT WEEKEND! I'd better start getting ready! ;)

Awesome!!!

This will be the first exotic pet show that I've ever been to! I gotta work on Saturday....but I'll be there on Sunday! See ya there. :D

Mouse Source

www.themousefactory.com - I've used Edna for about 5 years, and she has been a spectacular supplier. Month-to-month, year-to-year, the size of her mice are consistant and weigh what she says they weigh.

They are vacuum packed, and properly shipped. Even in August, I never have a worry about them arriving warm.

Her prices are quite fair.

Bill

BLUE RIBBON HERPS

I've heard good things about BCRF and I just finished making my first order with them. Waiting for Wednsday afternoon.

Gary, If I get a fifty pack for only one snake, should I get a vacuum sealer too so I can make sure the mice stay fresh?

I just use Ziploc freezer bags once I open a vac pack. If you are really concerned about freezer burn (I've personally never had a problem) then just double bag them in two freezer bags.
