Haya Tha'baan
my little worm
I attempted to feed her when she was looking a bit grey. Her eyes weren't blue yet and I've fed her in this state before, but she wasn't interested in eating, so I figured she was extra sensitive this shed time. So I waited until she was done shedding and I attempted to feed her 24 hours after.
I offer her 3 large fuzzy mice since they don't offer weanlings where I live and adults are too big. She ate one and poked the others with her snout and that was it. She ate just fine til now but a few issues I thought of: I feed her in a mesh laundry basket and she spends a lot of time trying to poke through the holes so maybe she's distracted by that. I also thaw my mice in water and I heard that washes away the smell and was advised to thaw in a ziplock bag so that they're more enticing.
I know she's hungry because she's poking her head out of her hide even in the daytime. She does that around the time I'm supposed to feed her. Any other ideas?
