Wilma and Callisto 2014

Say hello to baby number 12. I'm going to go ahead and say this one is another amel masque. This one is named Peach and weighs 8 grams.

What is Toffee's number, by the way? 8 is my lucky number and if it is it might be fate. Sigh. You're KILLING me, woman!

Baby number 15 came out this morning. I could swear that I updated this thread, but I guess I didn't. This one is another little fire, 8 grams, named Hazelnut.

But, the really neat news is the last baby decided to make his little way out into the world.

AND HE'S AN AVALANCHE! WHOOHOO! He's the smallest baby in the clutch so far at 7 grams. He's definitely a keeper, so I'll have to think of a 'real' name for him.

This has been the best clutch for a beginner. The clutch was a decent size, all the eggs were viable, no sad DIEs, all the babies hatched and don't have kinks or egg stems attached, and both hets proved out on each of the parents. Now I just have to hope that they all eat nicely.

I am so happy he is too. I don't have any white snakes, so he will be a welcome addition. I think I'm going to be keeping one of the fires, as well. Montana wants Sherbet, the amel masque, as long as he is a reliable eater and has a nice personality.

I am having a hard time from keeping from telling you to hold one for me. Those last two fires have me biting my tongue really hard.

YAY!!! An Avalanche! I am so happy for you, saving the surprise unique one for last! That's great.

And Christen got me thinking, Toffee would be Athena's great-niece or nephew! Christen, these are YOUR great-grandbabies! I always think of myself as their mom anyway, and had my first grand-slugs this spring. And my tongue is bleeding from saying yes to Toffee now!

Oh, good for you, Olivia, I am so happy for you and your beebees. You didn't say anything in your email, so I figured we were still waiting!!! Hugs, mamacita!

Technically it would just be Athena's niece or nephew since Athena and Wilma as sisters.

Ah, I didn't know there was another generation above Wilma and Athena to your babies. Thanks, great-great grandma!!! :bird:

The first baby, Strawberry the fire, has had his first shed. It was a perfect shed and he was so calm while I held him. He's so bright now!

A few of the others are in the clear phase, so they should be shedding soon too.
