World of Warcraft players?

I watched a mage pull under 4k in ZA so at times like that, I'll take the 6k. ;)

85 resto druid/85 hunter on Thunderlord btw.
 
A mage doing 4k lol.
I've never seen that one before, mages are the only ones I regularly see over 20k in raids.

I usually pull depending on what we're fighting 15 - 19.
It is a big crowd of trash though, I can get up to 25 - 30 due to multishot or fan of knives on my rogue.

True and gratz on the kill. The sad part is the first thing I noticed was that 2 people in group 2 were dead. That's where I put my healers/tanks so I was wondering how you downed it with 2 healers or tanks already dead before I noticed the tanks in group 1. :)
 
It was our first kill, the two dead are actually two healers (me and my roommate), we were oom and if you know the fight, rageface had a HUGE stack on him and he was ... raging face right at the end, which is how we died.
being 4 weeks ago, we actually go in and blow right through him without a single death and plenty of mana left. Once our mage figured out how to consistently drop the stacks off of the dog, it is probably one of the easiest fights out there.
 
I don't know the fight since I haven't been able to run with my core group. I'm the GM, work full time, go to school full time, and run a business so I just get to hear about the fun they are having. :(
On the upside though, we're a small guild and 6/7 atm which for a casual guild on our server is great so I'm proud of my guys. :)
 
Congrats! That's a HUGE achievement because Firelands is NOT an easy instance. I do enjoy the level of difficulty that they've applied to the game recently.
I hear you on the time, I'm the same - work full time, snakes, kids, school and finding free time (I enjoy hiking and traveling on top of the game lol). It is tough. My roommate and I are just officers and we ARE the raid leaders, so everyone raids when it's convenient to us! ;)

On the Shannox heroic fight - the dog jumps an individual and that individual will die (no matter the healing) within about 5 seconds if someone isn't quick enough to react within those 5 seconds and apply a 30k or greater damage burst on him, which will knock the dog off. Each time he hits someone it builds a stack on him that greatly increases his damage to whomever he has aggro on, if it gets too high he 1 hits. Us healers didn't die until the very end when his stack was so high he was virtually 1 hitting us, lol.
 
Thanks! Sounds like your schedule is as hectic as mine and I used to raid lead until my life took over. Still enjoy hopping on vent and chatting with everyone though. Fridays we try to get something going but most people in my guild have kids so that's a hard night to find 10 who can focus and are ready to raid. The Shannox fight sounds like fun especially for the dps. I have a hunter who enjoys doing things like that but then again, I've watched him beat out a mage in DPS (it was by less than 10 dps difference but it was fun to watch them go back and forth).
 
We did ours a little different yesterday.
Killed rageface first, downed shannox to 35%, killed riplimb and then downed shannox.

Was really simple and I got my hunter helm.
 
Nice! That's the way we do it on regular mode but there's no enrage on heroic mode and the dogs have a lot more health (and the stacks drop off of the dogs and tanks if they are trapped for a certain length of time). Grats on the helm!

I was pretty OP back in the day. My unhappiness with Cata in the beginning sent me bouncing between guilds, then into retirement.
 
I was really into the trading cards too.

Unfortunatly all my loot cards are on my old main.
Mostly just the pets, but I had the fake spectral tiger seesaw playground thing.
Loved pulling that thing out in raids or dal.

LOL have you seen the WoW forums though?
It's all trolling and everyone had their hateraid.
 
I was banned from the WoW forums the first day they where announced for trolling, because I told bad BGers on the PvP forums that weapons shouldn't be free- if you couldn't hit 1800 in 5 man weapons you where bad etc. They got mega sad over it.

I don't see how it was hard though, I could get a character almost naked to 1800 in s7/s8 LOL.

That was another one I was debating on buying... But, I only had the money for one. So I went with my "Alma mater", because I had been with GW since the E-3 event for everyone back in 2004... Oh the good old days...
 
My boyfriend wants me to try D3 when it comes out.
Not sure if it's my kinda game - I really can't stick with any game but WoW...

But even know, I haven't really been playing.
