World of Warcraft players?

Did more RBGs tonight. Group is 11-0 at 1950, still none of the teams we have fought have been even close to decent.

I'm excited! Got to raid for the first time in 6 weeks last night with a guild group and downed Shannox with no issues. Seeing as 5 of us had never walked into Firelands before, I was happy with that. :)

And Millinex, there are some people who can't get a decent rating like me. I love PvP but I suck at it. My guildies take pity on me once in a while and will let me run BG's with them but I'm definitely getting carried. ;)

Takes practice. In BC I was an "end game raider". Put some time into things like communication, situational awareness, and whatnot, and season 5 I hit gladiator, season 6 I hit Furious Gladiator, anyone can get good ratings, you just have to go earn them!

It's sad though, my fresh 85 dk is going to have his elite set before my main DK because of my gf ;( lol

I love PvP when I've got the time. Right now, I only have time to log on really at scheduled, set aside times for raiding then it's log off again. Way too busy it seems lately. But when I do PvP it's usually 2v2 with my roommate who is a warrior and me as a disc. priest. I've got a decent amount of the season 9 and season 10 sets.
We also 3v3 with our mage friend, who is probably one of the best players I've ever seen. So when we go in, we almost always win.
As 2v2 there's only 1 make-up that gives us a hard time if played well is a good DK/Mage team. Otherwise we almost always win.

YAY!! I'm so excited, it'd be great to have another friend to run stuff with! (and I love Shadow Priests...)

DYK I'm updating addons now, I may go ahead and get my account up and running today.

I have not touched the game in so long all my rotation knowledge is gone. Ugh...

yeah, they've changed it a bit anyway. Now, believe it or not, mind sear does viable damage.

Have your warrior sit on the DK and dominate his face, spam dispels all day all night and the DK will fall over no problem. Just make sure to line of site polymorph as much as possible, you'll win every time.

A well played DK will stay on me the entire time trying to keep me locked down while the mage novas. I cannot continuously dispell nova AND keep myself guarded and healed at the same time. When played that way, we have really hard time, especially in the Nagrand Arena where the mage stands on the dang pole.

What is your partner doing then? You should be easily able to get away with throwdown/improved hamstring on the DK, and fears on the mage/dk...

Either you need to figure out priorities, and learning when you're actually safe to do certain things (situational awareness), or your partner needs to learn how to peel. I've never lost as a priest vs dk/mage. No matter what I play with =/.

Every time we've lost, it's been the Nagrand arena and the mage is on the pole. So, ultimately he was unreachable in any circumstance because he would stand up there and cast nova continuously, which prevented the warrior from taking down the DK quick enough while he was on me.
These guys also had gear way above ours at the time. I'm just saying this is the only group combo we've lost to, and this is why.

Ah. Ignore the mage completely, him sitting on the pole is helping you. If your warrior trains the dk hard enough/well enough you'll win. Also remember- dispelling your warrior is more important than healing yourself, keeping him free/clean of debuffs will help you in the long run.

Yep, exactly what happened but the DK had me down in seconds - eating through bubble and insta-heals while I was dispelling. As I said, their gear was far superiour so DKs damage > Warriors damage at the time.

I think I'm pretty much done with WoW...at least that's what i keep telling myself ;) But hoping The Old Republic can satisfy my MMO needs and keep me playing.

I've got a friend that's beta testing Knights of the Old Republic and apparently it's quite good. Not a fan of space games but it definitely sounds like a lot of fun. I guess Blizzard is also making another MMORPG that's not related to WoW or Diablo but I have a feeling that one is a ways off seeing as they still don't have a date for D3.

My husband and I used to be really into WoW. But we finally got fed up with the bull crap and trying to find a decent raid guild that wasn't just a bunch of morons or had no concept of fun. We enjoyed Lich King, but Cata just became meh.

My main was an Enhance (during LK - Ele for Cata) Shaman on Alliance. We played on Sen'jin. My secondary main is a DW Frost DK that I adore playing. I do miss the game, I just wish I didn't have to put up with other people to raid. :(

We went back to Guild Wars and are awaiting Guild Wars 2 anxiously. I'm an avid Star Wars fan, but I have mixed feelings about TOR. My biggest fear is that it'll be another crappy MMORPG like Galaxies. *shudder* That game was the suck in a BIG way!
