Hello,
I'm new here and just wanted to say "hi" :)

How's it going?

"Buddhism has the characteristics of what would be expected in a cosmic religion for the future: it transcends a personal God, avoids dogmas and theology; it covers both the natural & spiritual, and it is based on a religious sense aspiring from the experience of all things as a meaningful unity" - Albert Einstein

anyone know who she is or why shes banned?

I got a PM from another member last night who received the same PM. I PM'd Jensen asking for an explanation for the "Buddhist spam", and I told him/her that if I didn't get an answer by this morning, I was going to ban them. When I logged in this morning, Jensen was "online" and PMing, but he/she hadn't PM'd me. So I perm-banned the account.

Thank you!

You must spread some Reputation around before giving it to Roy Munson again.

Thanks, Dean! I didn't get a PM, thankfully, but it's nice to know you are on top of things!

Damn, I feel so unloved, I got none.
Yeah, we missed out on the special invite party I guess... must not have been special enough! lmao...

Thanks, Dean! I probably would have been annoyed if I got one.

Dean,

Is it best to PM you like I did or would it be better in future to start thread about a potential spam?
:shrugs:

The PM was good. You can also PM the whole mod team by separating our usernames with a semi-colon in the "To" line: Roy Munson; Susan; mbdorfer. If there is a questionable post or thread, using the "report post" feature is best.

Lies, I was unloved by the spam as well :sobstory:

Ditto. I'm glad it got posted though, not because I'm interested in seeing everything considered unacceptable here, but because that one is special. Buddhist spam? I went there to see if it was just a ruse for something altogether different (if my computer is compromised at work it's IT's problem), but it looks like an amateur, Western-ized but still ostensibly Buddhist-oriented page. Shoving propaganda into unwilling stranger's pm-boxes is not very Buddhist in spirit, in my opinion. This is one of those things that makes me feel like I'm fitting right in with folks who complain about what the world's coming to as they get older. Sheesh.
