Your 2012 most awaited pairing

great topic!

since I retired I just have 2 pairings this season.

my favourite pairing is:
Ghostbloodred 66% poss. het. Charcoal x Ghostbloodred poss. het./hom. Charcoal (look at this awesome gender dimorphism!!)

Ghostbloodred ph Charcoal
Platinumbloodred
(if poss. het. proves out)

second pairing is pretty boring since everyone will produce some tesseras + x this season:

Ghostbloodred 66% poss. het. Charcoal x Tessera het. Striped

Normal het. Hypo Anery Bloodred 50% poss. het. (Charcoal) Striped
Tessera het. Hypo Anery Bloodred 50% poss. het. (Charcoal) Striped

The Ghostblood lineage is pretty unique. I begun that project in 2004 and used an outstanding BHB pewter (I think he was an anerypewter) and a hypo lineage from Sven Faes (original serpenco hypoblood x hypo okeetee lineage). Afaik I'm the only one who combined these two lineages and in 2010 I got a ghostblood female and a ghostblood male of another f1 project pair out of this project. These two ghostbloods are coincident the one and only ones out of this lineage, so this year I'll breed them together for the first time in order to produce more of their kind. I know, meanwhile ghostbloods are pretty common, but since these animals and me have a common background since 2004, these animals are very special to me and I can't wait for the breeding season :)

my most awaited pairing is very boring: ghost het. lavender x hypo lavender :)
Another pairing I hope to do this year: hypo poss. het. anery, amel, motley, blood, pied x normal het. amel, anery, hypo, stripe to prove out a few of the poss hets. of the hypo male.

I am really looking forward to seeing babies from a couple snakes that I have on loan. Granite het hypo and stripe x same. Keeping fingers crossed for some Ghost blood stripes.

I started going through my breeding plans, listing the pairings I'm looking forward to, then stopped as I was simply listing them all again! :) There is one potential breeding, however, that isn't on my list that I am very excited about, but I'm not announcing it until I know for sure the pair has bred.

Im new to the forum and me and my fiancé are new to the snake breeding world but we are very excited for the coming up breeding season. were going to be breeding our sunglow motley (m) to a black motley (f) and well see what we get.

Normal motleys het amel and anery is what you will get.

For myself:

Anything involving Vanay... which is almost all the girls anyway. But particularly with Lacy. I want some dark charcoals het diffused!

A project between Heather, Tara, and myself involving my male dilute ghost motley/stripe het diffused and their female dilute granite motley het charcoal.

So far so good,i think some awsome morhs will be produced this year.
Keep the posts coming!

What I was looking forward to (getting out so can't breed myself):

Hypo Plasma X Hypo Lavender Stripe
= Hypo Lavenders het Blood, Stripe

Hypo het Ultra, Sunkissed X Same
= Possible Hypo Ultra Sunkissed :)

het Sunkissed, Caramel, Motley X Same
= Honey Motleys

Maybe someone will get them before breeding season is over and I can live vicariously.

My male amel het anery, diffused x female ultramel ph diffused. If she proves diffused...Ultramel Anery diffused.

Thank you for your reply...I'm still learning all the different morphs and names for all the morphs; and trying to learn as much as I possibly a can and are collection is growing. We really love this hobby very much we have a variety of snakes and were trying one day to breed our own morph. I'm still learning all the numbers to represent the sex of our snakes. So ill just for now mention what we have. We have a female Red Tail Boa. one female Okeetee. ,female black motley a normal female cornsnake and a male sunglow motley and a fresh from Ghana Ball Phython...Do you know any sites you would recommened that have good info about corn snakes and breeding and morphs.

My most awaited one is a Snow corn X Black rat to produce beasts but my most awaited corn breeding is an Amel Motley X Caramel het motley, diffused, amel and I am hoping to produce some that are het diffused so in the F2 I can get sulfur motleys!
