Your Pet Names!?!?

My oldest corn is named Yoshi after the Mario game character he also has a Y on his head I didn't notice that till a couple days after naming him and he's also my favorite snake and my best christmass gift ever. =)

My female corn is Jade and my male ghost is Abel I got them three or four years after Yoshi and they're close to the same age.

I named my tiger salamander Ickis from the Aaahh!!! Real Monsters cartoon sadly he died of old age I had him has a youngster with gills I miss him. =(

My white boxer named Pearl hear parents she's around I think 12 years and she still acts like a puppy.

I used to own a blue betta fish named azure he was such a cool fish I forgot how long I had him.. =\

That's it for pets.

I'll start simple and type out the non-snake names first.

Cats: Pixie (Think devilsih type pixie's from the HP books and you'll be half close to how demonic this cat truly is. She likes to springboard off your face while you are sleeping.) and Mr. Clarence Wang (Mister for short)
Dogs: Buddy and Blue (named for the blue fur on her tummy as a pup and because our youngest likes Blue's Clues - even though we got the puppy long before she was old enough to know what Blue's Clues was.)
Fish: I've forgotten most of the fish names, but there are a few that are hard to forget. Ugly - common pleco, Jack - Upside down catfish, The grusome twosome (Frank and Francis) - Albino bristle nose plecos, and Fran - Albino Bristle nose pleco. At one point all of our Cichilds were named, but we've long since sold most of them and forgtten the rest.
Toads: Dude, Spot, Hopper, Fluffy, and I'll have to ask the girls for the rest of the names. They are all common desert toads that we raised from tadpoles.
Mice: Ringo (black mouse with a white stripe around his belly.), Vampy (Black mouse with a white stripe that looks like teeth around his belly.), Star (Black with a small star on her belly.), and then the Vampettes (Vampy's female compainions.)

Now for the snakes.
kings: Folly, Dolly, Harley, Valkyrie, Freya, and Thor.
Milk: Jane
Corns: Agate, Alexandrite, Amethyst, Basalt, Beryl, Breccia, Brookite, Brucite, Carnelian, Cassiterite, Celestine, Charcoal, Copper, Coral, Dolomite, Ferrite, Flint, Galena, Garnet, Gemstone, Granite, Graphite, Gypsum, Helenite, Hematite, Homer Crimson, Hope, Jasper, Jewel, John, Kimberlite, Kyanite, Leucite, Limonite, Malachite, Mercury, Mica, Monster, Mr. Stone, Nepheline, Niccolite, Obsidian, Olivine, Opal, Pearl, Pebbles, Pyrite, Quartz, Riverstone, Ruby, Ryolite, Sandstone, Sediment, Selenite, Shale, Silt, Slate, Sylvite, Travertine, Topaz, Tourmaline, Vivianite, and Zircon.

That of course doesn't count the names of animals that we no longer have. If I tried to include them all, I'd not be able to type for a week.

Jenn

Cool, I didn't know Rafaelle had a name yet.

Nanci
Yeah, I was going to save that for another post but, what the heck.
I decided to name him after my Great Grandfather, Raffaele Moscariello.
I changed the spelling so it would go with Elle :grin01:
I always knew my GGF as Ralph so if I refer to the pueblan as Ralph... :grin01:

Just two critters here
"Darwin" - Reverse Okeetee Cornsnake [name from back when he got live snake-chow ... every one of them would immediately run and investigate the snake when added to the feeding tub] - three or four years old, picked him up from our LPS.
"Number 2" - Normal Cornsnake [a name hasn't presented itself so far ... besides "grumpy little bastard"] - almost 2 years old, acquired at the Taylor, MI reptile show.

So funny we all just are good guys and gals doing what we are asked to do... LOL Including me..hehe:

Reverse okeetee f; Aislinn (Dragonheart movie)
Miami mot male; Zedd
Light mormal/miami f; Kahlan (couple with Zedd, from a fantasy book)
miami male; Perseus, too long story
Lavender male; Olav (named after a friend, also because of 'lav')

Okeeteeish f; Lullaby (because of her 'falling asleep' in the hood of my hooded sweater)
Okeeteeish f; Leeloo

Names of the animals in my "zoo."

Voodoo - the amber corn snake
Moon Unit, Picachu, Golf Ball and Houdini - the chinchillas
Ruckus - the blue merle american cocker spaniel
Happy - the shih-a-poo (shih-tzu poodle mix)
Bastian - the red point tonkinese cat
Lola - the cream and white shorthair cat i saved from the pound

I stopped naming all my fish, since I have hundreds. It was getting hard to keep track of them all. I have one 55 gallon tank filled with parrot cichlids, gold severums, barking cat fish and some baby oscars (they'll be moved to a new tank when they get a little bigger). I have another 55 gallon tank filled with African cichlids. Then there's my 110 gallon tank that houses my 12 pound red bellied pacu, adult oscar, and clown knife fish.

The pacu will outgrow his tank by the end of this summer, and I plan to donate him to a zoo. He'd make a great addition to any Amazon River display. But that's another topic. :)

Oh, and last but not least are my three male bettas. :crazy02: None of them have names yet.
