A friend of mine and I can't quite agree on what these guys are.

So, what do you who know think?

They're Maise Serpents.

Normal (maybe hypo), normal, hypo, hypo?? Maybe amels but the eyes look too dark? But do they have white, especially #3?

Those are my *guesses*

Number 1 has almost no black at all, just a thin outline on the saddles.

Number 2 is much heavier but nowhere near what my normals have.

Number 3 has a few spots of white.

Number 4 has no white at all, just red and orange.

There is no known Creamsicle in there.

I just couldn't say if either of the last two were ultra/mel either. I'm not familiar enough with it.

So I'm changing #3 to amel-something.

Okay, conservative guess is 1) hypo 2) normal 3) hypo 4) amel (possibly out of a creamsicle line)

A bunch of beautiful, but "who cares?" norms, hypos (of indetrminate type), and amel. I guess I don't understand the point of this exercise. Who is it supposed to belittle?

I'm an ultra-cynic, and I've been around the block. But I'm not infallible...

LOL...I hear you there. I was being facetious in that last message.

I actually thought the original post was some sort of joke or exercise, but responded anyway. "Who cares?"...may very well be, but I was bored. I imagine a lot of those who posted were...or just have too much free time!

Well, a guy goes looking for some facts from those who know and look what happens.

I thought hypo, maybe hypo but sure not an average normal, neat amel, and not sure what amel but possible ultramel or sunglow.
I've been breeding corns for many years but never got into all the different colours or morphs. All of these were produced by me but not of any particular design. Back in the long ago I got corns from the Loves, and BHB and Joe Pierce, heck even Serpenco and a few guys I can't remember who aren't around anymore.

My friend thought hypo, normal, amel, amel.

#4, lacking all white just seemed to be something else to me.

Sometimes a simple query is just a simple query.

#1 hypo assuming its not a hybrid, looks just like my Cinnamon.
#2 normal with a little bit of frosting
#3 and #4 look Amel again assuming these arent hybrids
