If you really feel that going to visit her is a waste of your time, I suggest you move on and find someone who isn't a waste of your time to just "go and visit."

:devil01: LOL
KJ

Let's talk men and wimmen here.
KJ has the right idea. You got to treat yer wimmen right........

Have you asked your girl what she wants? If you argue and jeopardise her job, maybe she'd prefer you to stay away?

I'm thinking it may already be too late for the 'moving on' as his portfolio says he is... married? I guess it is never really too late to change that too, just more expensive imo.

If he is married why does he keep referring to her as his girlfriend? Are they one in the same and he just misplaced his wedding vows? Is he married and has this girl on the side? Hhmmmm? :shrugs: Inquisitive minds want to know. :grin01: :sidestep:

Jay

Speak for yourself, Jay! With some of the crap this kid has claimed to have pulled(and felt "slighted" because of), absolutely nothing would surprise me anymore...;)

[sarcasm]He's probably married with 3 kids to one chick that works at a McDonalds(where he has been banned because the fry-cook was rude), and having an affair with the girl from K-Mart(where he has been banned because an employee was rude), and now his Staff Sargeant/Recruiter is working with the Federal Supreme Court to have it legalized for him to be a polygamist, JUST so he can successfully recruit and become an upstanding, intelligent defender of our Freedoms in the U.S. Marine Corps.

Or at least that will be next month's web-isode...

Well see now here I go the girlfriend at Micky Dee's gives him free lunch, which he takes to his girlfriend at K Mart, the only reason the recruiter pays attention to him is the recruiter is a female and he's such a stud muffin.
As for his wife like all the other wives of late she didn't know he had a grilfriend and now they are coming ou of the woodwork. Because we all know the Marine Corp pays so well and has such hot spots of paradise for living like Iraq, 29 Palms and Camp Lejuine. Semper Fi you go Jason.

Do tell........ :poke:

Wayme ;)
I'm still trying to figure out how, when, and where one gets a 'staff sergeant' when one is neither in the military, nor even boot camp yet.

Sounds kind of naughty-zekzy-discipliney. I found the luggie story more than a little steamy, myself.

Maybe I need to get me one of them.... ;)

What do you think, Wayme?

to all of you. she didnt get upset bout the whole thing at her work. she actually went to talk to her manager to keep me out of trouble because the other girl tried playing the race card with the manager becus they are same race. my girl always asks me to bring her dinner. she doesnt get mad and if she wanted me to stay away she would ask me too. and as for us being married i put married because i might as well be married with how she tries to run my life. she is my girlfriend not my wife. susang i actually wanna go overseas to japan when i get out of camp. i am hoping after i begin my MOS ill be shipped to okinawa for more training. Semper Fidelis USMC You go in a Civillian... You come out A United States Marine

most recruiters are staff sergeants. my recruiter is my staff sergeant at PT. i do PT a few times a week to prepare.

Can we all just let this go? I think we've taken turns kicking Jason for his less-than-well-thought-out decisions plenty, between this thread and the one about the fight. He's not going to change who he is to magically agree with you all and none of you are going to magically decide he's great, so why not just agree to disagree and let this go?

And not that it's really anyone's business but Jason's, but his girlfriend is his "wife" as they've been together a long time and iirc are planning on getting married.

Pepper, I'm talking to Wayme,...thank you very much.

And I have expressed no disagreement with l0ck_0ff. In fact I think he is absolutely fabulous.
He really was going to eat that luggie...and my hat is off to any man who plots a course and sticks to it.

he lost his right for people to "Let it go," and "Mind their own business" when he posted it on a public form for the world to read. :) If he really wants to keep it to himself, then he can stop posting this nonsense.

Is been banned from K-Mart really a bad thing?
I'm not banned...but I haven't been to K-Mart in over twenty years. Am I missing something? Did they stop selling crap and actually started selling useful junk?

Do marine recruiters actually put this much time into each individual that enlists? It seems to me I've been hearing about this recruiter for quite a while now.

On one last note...Jason...say Semper Fi all you want...but it doesn't mean squat until you make it through boot camp. You're not one of them yet.

I don't know about this. There are definitely differences between being married and dating. There may not be differences in terms of how you feel, but there are definitely a lot of legal differences. This is just my opinion and everyone can disagree with me if they want, but to say that they are the essentially the same is short changing everyone. The day that I got married to my husband did not change the way I felt about him, but it did change my legal responsibilities and my legal benefits. Even if the feelings are the same the actual nuts and bolts are different. Being married changes inheritance, it also changes insurance, and it means I can make end of life and other decisions for my husband. Being married is a different kind of commitment, than just dating. It is one thing to say I love this person it is another thing to say I love this person enough to give them the legal rights to end my life (by taking me off support) if I am ever incapacitated. It is one thing to say we share everything and another thing to say I am willing to put my finances legally on the line so that I can be married to this person. I think that to say they are the same short changes the people who take marriage as a serious commitment, and I think that it short changes the people who are fighting hard to have the right to marry. If being married is the same as dating then why are so many gay people bothering to try and get that right? I know that now a days most people don't think like me, but marriage is important and it is serious and it is different from dating.

While all that is true, I think the main point was "not that it's really anyone's business". No one said anything about them being the same thing.....

I can't believe this thread is still going. LOL

Comox, if it's been 20 years...they could have changed! LOL I don't even know where there is a Kmart anymore.
