Lord Asriel - Hypo het Sk, An, Mot

Jessicat

All Pied Everything
This guy is from Susan Willis, and he finally shed for me!

As soon as I saw his siblings, I knew I needed to have a pair of these. The look great, and their potential is amazing. So far Asriel has been eating well for me, and I've been highly anticipating his first shed with me!

This will be his progression thread.
The first two pictures were taken by Susan Willis, his breeder.

And now for his most recent shed with me (get ready for a picture overload!)

Finally! I checked his viv and found a shed and a brightly colored snake!

Eik about the choice of bush. The sun was playing tricks on me this morning. I think the pictures came about very nice though, and he was unharmed by the thorns.

Hope you guys enjoyed looking at pictures of Lord Asriel as much as I do! Here's a link (I hope this is okay) that Susan recently posted of his siblings. They're so incredible, I feel lucky to have a pair of these guys.

I love his head marking o_o Looks like a crown. I'd be so scared of putting mine on thorns, though >_< Although, the pictures seem to be worth it :3

lol, he was only on the thorn bush for about 2 minutes. Thanks for the compliments guys! I love this boy. I'm hoping he holds onto his borders. Only time will tell!

You're the first person who's seen a crown!
That's pretty awesome though. Gives me a new perspective on my snake!

Also, thanks Irish!! It's hard for me to find a snake I don't like! There are a few morphs that don't do much for me, but not many!!

Yea, Susan I am SO happy with these two! They're great.

Daenery, I remember your post about them! I think that's what inspired me to read His Dark Materials again. Lord Asriel's girlfriend (the female Hypo of the pair) is named Aurora. ;)

Oh, also, here's my Lyra Silvertounge :D

The next greyish colored male snake (I don't really do white snakes) will be named Iorek Bryerson!

Little update of Asriel.. he shed again at some point last week! I've been so busy with school that this is the first opportunity I've gotten to snap some pictures.

Here we go!

Thanks for looking!

I know i'm not the first to say it, but the name is amazing, and he is amazing. Those books inspired...well I was going to say my life, but it was really just my senior thesis. So, pretty much my life for 7 months.

Sorry I didn't see this before. Thanks so much, and yea.. the Trilogy is so powerful. I've read it several times and I always get something out of it. I also cry every time, and I am not a crier.

I'm still waiting for the perfect snake to name Iorek Byrnison!

Anyway, Asriel is shed again! He looks great, so I went outside and did a little photo shoot even though it's cloudy today. I actually like the pictures a lot, they're not washed out by the sun. I did get a lot of the same kind of picture though, so bear with me..

I decided to play around with a blue background!!

And... I attempted to get an awesome tree stump shot, like Susan has taken of his siblings. Unfortunately he wasn't as easy to photograph once he was out of his deli. I tried trapping him under the deli, putting a scarf over it so that it would be dark, then shooting a few photos as soon as I uncovered him.

I only got one halfway decent photo, and it only looked okay after a bit of Photoshoping (the others have not been altered besides resizing by photobucket). Ah well, just another reason to be amazed by Susan, I guess.

Here's my little tree stump half fail

I'm excited by this guy's progress!! I got him and Aurora out of the egg, so they were pretty small when I received them. They have grown up a little now, and are looking really good! I need to re weigh them, but I'm pretty sure that they've doubled in size since they've been here.

Thanks, Dave!

Here's another quickie I happened to shoot of him. I like that it shows off his borders.

As the weather worsens around here, I'm thinking indoor shots will be much easier to get. I just wish I had something prettier than aspen as a background.

Thanks, Susan!
(for this awesome boy)
