Brandon thought it would be a fun idea to make Zedd, our beardie, a halloween costume so we can enter him in Petsmart's pet holloween costume contest this weekend! So, introducing Zeddicus the TRUE bearded dragon!!!

Managed to attach lower tail pieces using twisty ties from loaves of bread (the upper ones are more difficult because he does not like us messing with his tail that close to his butt lol)

OMG that's cute. What a creative idea!!! Are the wings going to be painted to match his color?
 
Well he is really pale right now because he is in shed, and the wings are leather, so no...we tried to pick a color that would be closest to his color but they were all so bright!
 
nice. I want to do it but we dont have a petsmart :( There building one like 15 min from me. im very excited I hope they have the contest next year me and my corn snake are gona win. I am gona dress her up like a piece of corn on the cob

Kinda like making other profiles and voting and stuff.
Or it's like a popularity contest and having their friends vote...

ANYWAYS though, good luck that is adorable.
 
That's so cute!! Isabel would be furious!! If you give him a bath right before you go, he might lighten his color up- Isabel will change from dark and gloomy to bright, pale orange/yellow if she soaks in the tub.

This one is an in-store contest :p And Zedd hates baths too XD The only thing he does like is food! And being held doesn't bother him but I wouldn't go so far as to say he likes it lol...

Well he didn't win because Petsmart employees aren't allowed....but everyone loved him! He was the only non-canine there lol
 
You don't happen to go to NC State and also go to the herpetology club meetings do you? Because last meeting that bearded dragon was there and it was wearing those wings. Next meeting I am going to say something to you!
