Free Nonfeeders for cost of shipping.... charcoal, butter, ultramel stripe & more

wendhend

Kind of Corny
This is my last group of nonfeeders for 2010. They come as a group, and I am looking for someone that will take them all. Shipping is only $35 if you are willing to pick them up at a local staffed Fedex express ship center. Some of these have shown no interest in food ever, and some of them are really unreliable, sporatic feeders. Here's what I've got:

Charcoal female (100% het amel) - no interest in any food I've ever offered.

Butter male (100% het motley) - eats live or F/T occasionally, but not reliably

Ultramel stripe male (100% het caramel) - eats F/T occasionally, but not reliably. Has a barely noticable kink near his vent.

Charcaol male (100% het amel) - took one F/T meal and refused everthing else ever since.

There is also one more charcoal male (het amel) that has refused everything I have ever offered but not enough room for a picture of him. These guys have all had at least 10 attempts at feeding. I always attempt feeding in the evening and in containers 8-ounce size or smaller, often leaving their food with them overnight. The things I have tried with all of these guys include frozen / thawed pinkies, washed pinkies, pinky heads, tuna-scented pinky heads, live pinkies and tease-feeding F/T pinkies. They are all well over a month old and have had at least one force-fed mouse tail to sustain them. PM me with any questions.

Oh... I wonder if I'd be slaughtered by my family if I took these in... hmmm *weighs the possibilities* How much does death hurt? :shrugs:

Nice pretty babies on your site, too, Wendy.

Oh, my, yes! The crimson '09 female on the for sale page has me doing some serious drooling! If it wasn't for the holidays coming, I'd be buying her "fer shur" (that was for you, Susan *grins*). As it is, with several birthdays plus Christmas and Thanksgiving, the "poor" season is upon us, here :).

Congratulations, Airidies! Here's hoping you can get your new babies eating and growing well, soon :).

You probably saved me from getting kicked out of my house anyway... so in a way.. Thank you? lol! Have fun with them!

Christie, I'm sending you a PM regarding the crimson.

Thanks so much Wendy! Looking forward to these little guys

When I started this thread, it felt like I was forgetting something.... and now I realize what it was. I have one more nonfeeder to include with the group. This a normal het charcoal female, who has never had any interest in any food I have offered her. Hope you don't mind if I include her in your box. Also here is a picutre of the other charcoal male not pictured previously.

Wow, Wendy, you really have some beautiful Charcoals! To bad they aren't eating for you..

Man, that Ultramel Stripe is TO DIE FOR! Do you have anything like him in the way of a normal feeder?

I am definitely going to be stopping by your table at the next expo! Will you be attending the January one?

Sorry, but I don't have any more ultramel stripes. His father (a golddust het stripe) should be breeding at least three females next season, so I might have something similar next summer. I should be at the January show. I will be going in on a couple of tables with some other breeders from Central Oregon, so we will probably have geckos, boa constrictors and tarantulas along with my corn snakes at the show. We might use my "Henderson Herpetoculture" sign or we might actually get an new one and call ourselves "Central Oregon Herpetology." Hope to see you there!
