The head and neck pattern does say hybrid to me, but with what, who knows. The belly also seems much too yellow to be pure amel corn. Absolutely lovely snake in any case!
Yep!,.........no doubt in my mind whatsoever that it is definitely a corn/milk hybrid.
The strange intermediate-looking temporal band, solid colored head, intermediate looking first ring behind the head, vivid red body coloration, wide white boarders, as well as the strange belly are ALL very indicative of Lampropeltis triangulum (milksnake) being in the mix....guaranteed!
